Add any you don't see here.

  • Ragnarok: Why is this one broken? Return from the Different Dimension. You activate Return and chain Ragnarok, and the latter wipes your opponent's field while the former allows you to bring the "cost" back. It's amazing.
  • Negative Energy Generator: Buffing Armageddon Knight to 4200 ATK? No thank you.
  • The Pillager: You shouldn't even have to ask about this one.
  • Magical Trick Mirror: Wow. This is just amazingly OP'd.
  • Card of Demise: Likewise. This thing is insane draw power. Runer5h 22:53, November 27, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h
  • Golden Castle of Stromberg: Draining opponent's deck by half each turn, enforce your and your opponent's monsters to attack no matter what is going on. --FredCat100 22:56, November 27, 2009 (UTC)
    • Though in-universe it is intentionally made to be this broken. --Gadjiltron 02:05, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
      • Actually, in-universe it's supposed to drain your own deck; Zigfried altered the card so that it would drain the opponent's. Danny Lilithborne 03:49, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
  • The Seal of Orichalcos: How I missed this I do not know. Runer5h 22:58, November 27, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h
  • Card of Sanctity, anime version. SICK. No wonder it was nerfed like crazy when it made it to real life.
  • Ghost Convert: Seriously, just think of all the things you can do with this.
  • Earthbound Immortal Wiraqocha Rasca, anime version. Drop your opponent's LP to 1. Yes, sure, you miss your Battle Phase, but just follow up with a burn effect!
  • Temper of Vai Mahse: So far, I don't see any specific cost for this.
  • Blackwing Treasure: Oh. My. God. Please, Konami, don't make this into a real card. --Gadjiltron 02:05, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
    • I would pay Konami to make that real. --Reimu-H 11:49, December 1, 2009 (UTC)
  • Philosopher's Stone - Sabatiel is pretty broken if you use it in a fairy deck man. That way you can protect your life points (Winged Kuriboh), gain some life points though some specific fairy abilities, regain some powerful spells, then multiply one of your monster ATK by ridiculous numbers.Land of dogs 02:33, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
  • The original Blue-Eyes Shining Dragon seemed pretty OP ;). --Bluemoonwhitenight 02:53, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
    • I don't think so. It's summoning conditions are still quite terrible. =/--~InfinitySlayer 03:44, December 5, 2009 (UTC)
  • Illusion Gate: destroy all your opponent's monsters and take one of theirs, all at the pesky cost of a soul. ^_^ Danny Lilithborne 03:49, November 28, 2009 (UTC)
  • Scrap-Iron anything not Scarecrow: I just really hope I don't have to explain this. Danny Lilithborne 03:50, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

Cursed Twin Dolls was cool-weird-confusing.--Helix-king 06:04, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

I think Dark Sanctuary was beast. DemonGodAsura 06:44, November 28, 2009 (UTC)

Necromancy is a card which I think, if people remembered it, could be made real and legal. Plus there were some awesome combos with it in the anime (Diffusion-Wave Motion or Slifer the Sky Dragon). Battlemaniac 19:39, November 30, 2009 (UTC)

Actually, Zigfried von Schroeder used Mischief in the Kaiba Championship arc of the original anime. Runer5h 22:42, December 1, 2009 (UTC)Runer5h

Why did nobody thimk of Aetonix Flame ?It's effect makes Raigeki and Monster Reborn look cute like a certain card with a bowtie with a horrible power.(pun intended) 03:26, December 5, 2009 (UTC)

Because it can't be splashed in any deck. --Reimu-H 11:43, December 5, 2009 (UTC)

Celestial Sword - Eatos anyone? sure i'll up my already huge monster to 5000 attack, sounds great!, also The Winged Dragon Of Ra was crazy good as wellJabari Out 03:43, December 5, 2009 (UTC)Jabari_Out

don't forget about how most of the cards from the american series one exagerated a cards effect such as COTH and how it brought back every creature that was destroyed which in the series made the creatures "invincible"

Obviously it's Catapult Turtle in the anime. Yugi used it to destroy the floatation ring on Castle of Dark Illusions and have it crash into the opponent's monsters. ^_^ 09:34, December 19, 2009 (UTC)Sephilli

  • Big Shield Gardna. 2600 DEF on a Level 4 monster, and NO DOWNSIDE (except if it's the Ceremonial Battle, or Yami and Kaiba vs. Dartz). --GoldenSandslash15 04:09, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
    • I don't remember, but was it ever been on the field long enough to have that negative effect demonstrated in the manga/anime? Also, there's "Destiny Hero - Defender" which has a higher defense and in a mill deck actually works in your favor, and it's a real card. Danny Lilithborne 05:09, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
      • Yes, yes it was. During the Ceremonial Battle, Yugi attacked Big Shield Gardna with Summoned Skull, taking 100 damage and making Gardna switch to attack by its own effect. It was then destroyed by Curse of Dragon.PoirotH 05:12, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
        • A similar thing happened in the Yami vs. Kaiba vs. Dartz duel. Dartz declared an attack against Kaiba's Different Dimension Dragon using Orichalcos Malevolence. Kaiba activated Attack Guidance Barrier to redirect the attack to Yami's Big Shield Gardna. This dealt Dartz 1200 damage, but Dartz negated the damage with Orichalcos Kyutora. Big Shield Gardna then switched into Attack Position, but Yami put it back in Defense Position after Dartz's turn ended, and Kaiba took his turn. So, in the end, there was no downside, because it never battled while it was in Attack Position.--GoldenSandslash15 18:23, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
          • What I meant was, has it ever been shown without its negative effect in the manga/anime? Danny Lilithborne 01:58, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
            • I don't know, but I know that the card itself was shown to be yellow (which may or may not mean Normal Monster, such as the case of Flame Swordsman). Just from memory though, I don't think that we ever found out if it had an effect or not, outside of those two cases. I'm probably wrong though, as it has been a while since I've watched the original YGO anime.--GoldenSandslash15 04:42, December 22, 2009 (UTC)
