Does everybody remember the fight between Goku and Frieza in Dragonball Z? (If you don't, you are uneducated in the fine arts of japanese animation and overall awesomeness and should be ashamed.) I remember when Frieza used his super death ball attack thingy and destroyed Namek's core and told Goku hey had 5 mins to finish the fight before the planet blew up and killed him. Do you remember how many episodes it took to finish the fight after that? It had to have been at least FIVE episodes or something for a 5 MIN. FIGHT! (possible exageration, but my point is coming up) So that got me thinking in my geeky brain, what was the longest duel in Yu-Gi-Oh anime history? If I had to guess one, I'd say the one between Pegasus and Yugi but I sure that ain't it. What is it?

And if you get bored answering this, tell the longest duel you have ever been in. Mine would be when I accidently locked down the entire field for both me and my opponent, and I couldn't figure out what to do for 10 whole turns (Finally remembered I had a Poison of the Old Man in the grave and a Magician of Faith face-down. He never say that coming.)Land of dogs 22:48, December 23, 2009 (UTC)

The longest duel in the Yu-Gi-Oh! anime would probably be between Yugi and Seto Kaiba for the Grand Championship, spanning over 6 episodes!--Akiza Izayoi 02:07, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

6 EPISODES! Dang, thats 132 mins of non-stop dueling! (taking out commercials each episode would be around 22 mins) I guess if it's a rematch between Kaiba and Yugi with no cheating (Kaiba's wall thing at duelist kingdom) it's gotta be EPIC! Land of dogs 03:53, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Are you being sarcastic? Because that statement seriously made me want to punch you in the face. Danny Lilithborne 11:49, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Kinda serious, kinda sarcastic. I'd tried to make it sound like more of a joke (cause I put it in for a laugh) but I guess it didn't come off that way. I don't really care if people watch Dragonball Z, or even like it, but I'm also a huge fan and believe it is the greatest anime made so far (the manga is good too). I'm not like the KKK of Anime or something and think that if you don't like dragonball, your stupid, I'm just not good at sarcasm. So to clarify, if you don't like anime that's cool, if you like anime but not Dragonball, that's cool too and I'm not going to hate you for it but I'm going to think it's a little bit wierd (Like when you find out somebody likes cheese sandwiches, but they don't like grilled cheese sandwiches). I think Dragonball is better than Dragonball Z, the relationships between the characters were the focus and it wasn't all "save the world from an alien" every story arc. Danny Lilithborne 15:18, December 24, 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, but in essence isn't every anime like that to some degree (we just saved the world, but theres a new alien to fight now). Your right about the character thing though, Dragonball Z did focus a little less on that. Just to get this out of the way, usually when I talk about Dragonball, I usually mean the whole series (including GT, even though some people hated it, I thought it ended the series better than Z). It's all a good series in my mind, but that's my opinion, and I'm just some guy sitting at his computer at 9:30 in the morning talking about anime, so my opinion doesn't count for much.
