I was reading the effect of The Mask of Remnants and suddenly a question arises. If I have Masked Beast Des Gardius plus another monster on the field and my opponent has no monsters. If Des Gardius is send to the graveyard and its effect activates, must I equip The Mask of Remnants to my monster? (Since my opponent has no monster) and do I lose control of the monster due to The Mask of Remnants' effect? (Since its effect says "Control of the equipped monster is switched.")
