Mix dragon deck

I know some are banned but I dont play at tournaments.I also dont have an side deck. Tell me what you think and give modifacation ideas please. --Bugzilloid (talk • contribs) 20:24, January 1, 2013 (UTC)

well i dont have any money so i really cant buy any cards and i do have some copyies of cards but probably not for the good ones. what cards were you thinking about. also i have other monsters like dragonic knight, van'dalgyon the dark dragon lord, felgrand dragon, rainbow dark dragon, more red-eyes b. dragon, paladin of the whight dragon (with x2 of white dragon ritual), one more blue eyes, lots of dragunities, some of the hieratics, 2 more copies of armed dragon lv.3 & 5, another apocralyph, gravi-crush dragon, magna slash dragon, spear dragon, lancer dragonute, spirit ryu, luster dragon 1 & 2, all three hex-sealed fusions, meteor dragon x3, and x2 meteor b. dragon, im thinking of adding solenm warning, in spells i have, dragon's mirror x2, fusion sage, inferno fire blast, mountain, a wingbeat of a giant dragon, junk barrage, mist body, and swords of revealing light. worth of traps i have, divne wrath, burst breath, miniature, tower of babel, and blast with chain. i have a little more but none worth mentioning. let me know.

Your Dragon deck lacks focus of any kind, except for a common type. Even if your just playing casually for fun, I don't think there's anything wrong with having a more consistent deck, right? However, at the moment, I don't see a deck that is consistent, it seems more likely that you'll be hoping to get your best cards, rather than actually getting to your best cards. At the moment, your monster line up consistent of at least 3-4 different themes, which are Chaos Dragon, Armed Dragon, and Red-Eyes, that's just way too many themes to make a deck around, I suggest narrowing it down to just 1 or 2, probably your best bet would be to either go Red-Eyes and some Chaos Dragon, or just go Armed Dragon all the way. After your pick a central theme or idea, then you can start adding in spells and traps that actually help you. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 20:00, January 4, 2013 (UTC)

Masked really doesn't serve any true role in Chaos Dragon, usually it's replaced by 2 Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter and 2 Lyla, Lightsworn Sorceress, along with 1 Charge of the Light Brigade. That entire 5 card engine of Lightsworn monsters offers you all the Mill you need, and allows you to perform the lock that make Chaos Dragons deadly, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon + Lightpulsar Dragon. Sadly, Red-Eyes Darkness Metal is Limited no matter what format you play, but Lightpulsar Dragon can be played in 3, and he's easy to summon. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:26, January 4, 2013 (UTC)

Not sure how to really help, but instead of Chaos Dragon, how about old school Hopeless Dragon? It's still good, and you can use Masked Dragon, but the randomness has to go. I'd probably start by telling you to get the strongest Level 4 Dragons you can get, which will probably be Axe Dragonute/Alexandrite Dragon/Luster Dragon, you need the beefy 1900-2000 ATK, it makes a world of difference, and both of those cards are cheap, also if you live in the United States, the site Troll and Toad.com offers 99 cent shipping if you order at least $10 worth of cards from them, it's one of the cheaper sites that I know players use to get cards. Plus if you do go the old school route, you can totally use 3 Masked Dragon and a few Exploder Dragon/Delta Flyer to make it work. --Dark Ace SP (Talk) 22:36, January 4, 2013 (UTC)
