:"...sent to the GY by this card's effect" does not mean the same as "...sent to the GY by the effect of "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord"". Your victory condition is reliant on the 1 copy. If that copy leaves the field, the "Forbidden One" cards it sent no longer count. --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 00:40, October 17, 2017 (UTC)

I knew it was a long shot. Guess this would only be good for battle advantage after all. And btw MasterMarik I'm well aware of how inconvenient the summoning condition is, I made sure to point that out earlier. It's not impossible to summon two of them in one turn. There are always cards like "Foolish Burial " or "Hand Destruction ". You only need one monster in the grave at minimum.--Dragonking (talk • contribs) 02:47, October 17, 2017 (UTC)

Accumulate Exodius(es?)

Every time I come across an issue where a card is capable of setting things up for a decent move either on its own or with one or more other cards, and the drawback is that the setup takes forever, my first thought is to stack multiple copies of said card. I started to wonder if that could work for "Exodius the Ultimate Forbidden Lord ". The main chink in his armor is that his ATK starts off too low. If I summoned a second or third Exodius, their attack powers would rise at least twice as quickly plus their cumulative power would similarly multiply by the same factor. Granted that summoning each copy would reset my progress, so either way I'd still have to rely somewhat on stall tactics. It may be most practical to stop at the second copy and only bother trying this at all within a short interval from summoning the first. Assuming I decide and manage to pull this off, I know that this can lead to a rapid power boost, but my question has more to do with the conditions for Automatic Victory . When the text says "...sent to the GY by this card's effect", does that mean by the effect of that specific copy? Otherwise two copies of this monster can dump all of the Forbidden Ones two turns sooner than normal. If it turns out that the conditions have to be met by one copy then I might as well settle for any of several easier strategies for boosting his chances of survival. I may try this in a normal support deck to spam my enemy with beatsicks. Either way I'd love to know the verdict.--Dragonking (talkcontribs) 21:06, October 16, 2017 (UTC)
