Forum:Maxx "C''

So, its my opponent's Main Phase 1 and I discard Maxx "C", because I know he has Rekindling in his hand. He then activates Rekindling, but states that Maxx "C" is a chain link 1, but the fact is he didn't activate anything when I discarded Maxx. He tells me that I can only draw once, because I discarded Maxx as Chain Link 1 (I discarded out of the blue), and he special summons a bunch of times, but quits after I draw more than 1 card. Maxx c needs to be chain link 2 or have already resolved earlier in the turn.

After you activate the effect of the bug, it will apply continually for the rest of the turn. "Rekindling"? Draw 1 card. Synchro Summon? Draw 1 card. Etc.

The only time you wouldn't draw is if your opponent uses "Call of the Haunted" or something immediately after you discard "Maxx "C"". You can use "Maxx "C"" in chain to your opponent's "Rekindling" and you will get to draw from the Spell Card's effect.

It says "each time", so that means for each card effect that allows Special Summons, draw 1 card. He used "Rekindling", right? he used 1 card to Special Summon, then you draw 1 card. It doesn't matter how many he Special Summoned since it doesn't say "each Special Summon", otherwise you would have drawn 1~5 cards, and Konami wouldn't be that dumb to have that kind of effect. 70.79.73.202 (talk) 05:03, November 6, 2011 (UTC)
