Madolche Tea Break Sorry if I did the Internal linking wrong, first time trying.

I know it will force your opponent to repay costs (life points, discard, etc.) if they wish to play it again, but do lingering effects still go through, or is it negated completely?

Example A) Opponent plays Pot of Duality, I chain Madolche Tea Break, and the spell returns to their hand. Can they play it again right away, or are they under the other effects of Pot of Duality?

Example B) Opponent play Allure of Darkness, I chain Madolche Tea Break, and the spell returns to their hand, do they still have to banish a dark from their hand?

And my apologies for forgetting the Tilda's. Consider this it 50.100.90.209 (talk) 02:34, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

From the limits of my knowledge. For A, only 1 "Pot of Duality" can only be activated per turn, even if its activation is negated. For B, they don't since its activation was negated. If it hadn't been negated, then after your opponent would draw 2 cards, your opponent would have to banish 1 card from his or her hand. 70.79.84.206 (talk) 02:40, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

But that confuses me. If they have to suffer the negative effects of Pot of Duality even though its activation is negated, wouldn't they also have to suffer the negative effects of Allure of Darkness, or is it the period between the adding/shuffling and the rest of the effects on Pot of Duality that changes everything.

Also, thank you for your answer, makes at least some sense.50.100.90.209 (talk) 02:52, September 12, 2012 (UTC)

Pot of Duality is a condition, while Allure of Darkness is an effect. If you negate the activation of Pot of Duality, then a second Pot of Duality may be activated. DemonGodAsura (talkcontribs) 03:25, September 12, 2012 (UTC)
