Here are the 3 latest decks I constructed. They seem to fare pretty well, and are consistently bringing me victories. I would like your opinions, though!

Mechanized2

Machina + Gadgets = Mechanized2. Recent deck, easy to build, fun to play, good enough to win.

  • Status: Quarternary Deck.
  • Statistics:
    • Monster Card to Spell and Trap Card ratio: 1:1
  • Comments:

Machina Gadgets are the new newbie-friendly deck. That doesn't mean that advanced players should look down upon them! They are really effective. The deck has awesome search power through 6 Gadgets, 3 Gearframes and 2 Peacekeepers, excellent removal through Smashing, Fissure and Prison, and a solid 2500 ATK beatstick with very good effects. Popular belief is that Machina Gadgets can't be competitive without Future Fusion/Jinzo/Jinzo - Returner, but I beg to differ, and I have proven my point in a duel with such a Machina deck. I went 2-1, pummeling it to the ground.

Obscured Brilliance

Since Lightsworns were nerfed, I decided to breathe new life into them by converting them into Twilight! And here are the results:

  • Status: Secondary Deck.
  • Statistics:
    • Monster Card to Spell and Trap Card ratio: ~1:1
  • Comments:

While Lightsworns were heavily nerfed, it was still possible to enhance them again with a Twilight build. Here, you see a not-so-conventional build, featuring Battle Fader, Dasher, Crow and Doomcaliber Knight! Despite appearing inconsistent and less powerful than pure LS, it is actually a bit better! Try it out, it's a good build.

Eternal Hell

Eternal = Endless = Infinite = Infinity. Hell = Inferno. Infinity + Inferno = Infernity!!

  • Status: Primary Deck.
  • Statistics:
    • Monster Card to Spell and Trap Card ratio: ~1:2
  • Comments:

I wanted to build an Infernity Deck ever since they appeared on the anime. I was intrigued by the fact that this deck seemed to make the greatest disadvantage of them all (hand at 0) a great advantage, by the introduction of the "Handless" concept. I loved it, so I wanted to build it! And now that I did, man is it good! This is an Infernity OTK build, although I have a control build underway (for post-banlist reasons), so I don't think any explanation is needed!

Opinions, away! --Darth Covah (Talk | DeckZone | Binder) 08:53, June 24, 2010 (UTC)
