Revision as of 08:16, 19 February 2012

So, it's been confirmed that the last archetype to appear in Galactic Overlord will be Lightrays, popular monsters who have been 'reborn' as light monsters.

I'm of the thinking that it will be kinda like what the Verz did to Catastor, Trishula, the worms etc. Though I'll admit I'd love it if it were old normal monsters who were remade into lightrays, what do you guys think?--The FireFALL (talkcontribs) 01:11, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

I just wanna see a LIGHT version of Allure of Darkness (would be BROKEN). Oh, and a LIGHT version of Goyo Guardian. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 01:27, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

Aaaand here we go into LIGHT support to offset the DARK attribute. It's like all the other Attributes are never getting as much attention as these two. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 03:01, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

I'm half-expecting a DARK version of Honest just because these two attributes get so much support compared to others. --> Summoned Skull 2: Electric Boogaloo 03:04, February 14, 2012 (UTC)
We do have one. Only that it's not as splashable, but powerful in other ways to also be Restricted. --Gadjiltron (talkcontribs) 03:06, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

I'm hoping they're like the Dark counterparts. Of course, they can't be nearly as good looking, but oh well. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 13:57, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

From what I see in that picture, they are pretty much light counterparts. I see Phoenix Gearfried, Chaos Sorcerer and one that I can't quite figure out. I hope they have good effects like the dark counterparts (but not as broken as dark armed dragon) Neos01 (talkcontribs) 15:18, February 14, 2012 (UTC)
Just figured out, the last one is Levia Dragon Daedalus Neos01 (talkcontribs) 15:22, February 14, 2012 (UTC)
Can't be as good looking as Dark counterparts my ass, they look amazing! Golden Key (talkcontribs) 15:28, February 14, 2012 (UTC)
Agreed Neos01 (talkcontribs) 15:31, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

What picture is this? BF2 Talk Deck Guides 17:36, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

Found it. I can't say for sure but in my opinion none of those comes close to the splendor of a Secret Rare Darlord Zerato or Dark Voltanis. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 17:38, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

From left to right; as I can realize their looks - Phoenix Gearfried, Chaos Sorcerer and Levia-Dragon - Daedalus... --FredCat 17:46, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

I believe you are correct. I'm excited for the Chaos Sorcerer and Daedalus, but I don't know why we have more Freeds...I wish we could have more Original Series Manga...that would have awesome cards. BF2 Talk Deck Guides 17:50, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

I want to see a Lightray version of Armed Dragon LV10 as an opposite to Dark Armed Dragon. --69.181.60.66 (talk) 23:23, February 14, 2012 (UTC)

I can see how the Lightray version of a DAD would work. Can only SS it when you have exactly 3 banished LIGHT monsters, and you can return one banished LIGHT monster to the graveyard to select a card your opponent controls, and send it to the hand. (Instead of how DAD sends em to the grave via destruction.) Adamtheamazing64 (talkcontribs) 00:10, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

If do make a Lightray version of Armed dragon lv 10 they should make it little strong than Dark armed dragon where it's effect destroys cards but insteads sends cards to the graveyards for for lightray armed dragon lv 10.

Also it would be funny if they make an lightray version of red eyes black dragon or a lightray yubel. --69.181.60.66 (talk) 01:20, February 16, 2012 (UTC)

Im loving the lightray version of Chaos Sorcerer..... i hope they make these monsters into lightrays: Armed dragon lv10, black skull dragon, Yubel, ultimate tyranno, rainbow dragon and chaos emperor dragon and maybe some boss monsters from the new and old archtypes . --SINFULL PARADOX (talkcontribs) 00:57, February 19, 2012 (UTC)

I don't think they'll make Lightray monsters based on Non-Effect Monsters since they all have effects based on their counterparts. So seeing B. Skull Dragon is not possible. LastMinute (talkcontribs) 01:42, February 19, 2012 (UTC)
Dunames Dark Witch and Warrior Dai Grepher got Dark counterparts, so don't be so sure about that. --Golden Key (talkcontribs) 04:44, February 19, 2012 (UTC)
But how old are those? I remember seeing the dark witch when I was first playing not long after the game came out (in my country at least). The Lightrays are only really useful because of their DAD-like summon requirements.
And @SINFULL PARADOX, the light version of CED is already out. It's called BLS /facepalm.
