What happened to the entire Ishtar Clan after Marik and Odion/Rishid left the tomb? Although the Battle City arc, when including the Ishtars, is mainly about the three siblings (their actions and duels) and their flashbacks, including of their parents, the whole Clan seems to have just disappeared after they first did!

When Marik was first born and his mom died, his father held him up to the rest of the tribe as the next heir of the Tomb-Keepers; then when it was his 10th/12th birthday, Marik was taken through the doorway by more than 1 person for his initiation, while Odion watched, meaning his dad couldn't be the only person left alive in the Clan besides the three siblings.

So what happened to the rest of their Clan after Marik, Ishizu, and Odion went permanently above ground? The child version of Yami Marik only killed/sent to the shadows their father, and there were still many other Ishtars that we at least saw when Marik's dad held him as a baby up to them. Did they go aboveground, too, since in their generation the Pharaoh came back and now they are allowed to come up? Or are they still down in the tomb, even though Atem returned? But if they are still down below, will they ever come up, now that Atem truly has passed away?Mistystar31 (talkcontribs) 01:43, April 28, 2015 (UTC)

Can anyone answer what happened to the rest of the Ishtar Clan besides Marik and his immediate family, including his adoptive older brother Odion? We saw that there were more than just his parents and siblings, so what happened to the others?Mistystar31 (talkcontribs) 02:23, May 7, 2015 (UTC)

....hmmm, Deja vu
First off, they don't exactly have to be Ishtars, just more servants, so they very well could be the only Ishtars left.
Second, they are literally unimportant nameless fodder. their entire purpose was to hold Marik down for the ritual, so as far as the story is concerned they don't exist. So naturally whatever happened to them is never brought up because.....frankly you are probably the first person to give a shit. So no one can answer because there is no Answer, unless you want to ask Takahashi about it. Just pretend they were Ghosts like Shadi. Hell with 2 Items down there they very well could have been.
Third, I highly doubt they'd have stayed down there, with the Ishtars gone and Atem reincarnated, their job is done so they'd be free to do whatever the hell they like.

First off, unlike Odion, who did do his servant job, was not treated like the others and instead very badly, even if that was just because Odion almost got the ritual instead. It would make sense, even if some were servants, that there were still other actual Isthars, since if Atem hadn't come in Marik's timeline, then he would have had to grow up and have a wife for another male tomb keeper to eventually have the ritual on his 10th/12th birthday; and Marik wouldn't have been the husband of his own sister, Ishizu, so there would have had to be another female tomb keeper and most likely her family left as well.
Second, just because they are "literally unimportant nameless" people and "I am the only one who is probably to care" doesn't mean that anyone, including myself, can be interested in them and just don't ask.
Third, I would think, too, that the Ishtars still alive would do what they want after their job is done with Atem and not stay inside the tomb. But just asking.
Do you always have to say bad words?Mistystar31 (talkcontribs) 03:46, May 7, 2015 (UTC)
Yes you are free to be curious, but it should have been obvious that there is basically nothing to say on that subject other than "who cares". They effectively stopped existing after the flashback. Personally I Like to think that they are either Working for Ishizu or Marik killed thim.
And Yes I always feel the overwhelming need to say bad words. At all times.
