Now, I, Shapesnatched, am taking an all-out study of DDM pools, so that they can be on the character pages. Of course, there are lots of opponents in DDM, so I need help! Basically, what we're doing is seeing what dice the opponent rolls and summons, then record it. If you find that you have recorded more than 15 for a particular player, that's likely; we're recording every die that player uses. Please do not put dice you think they had, they might have had, unless you were pretty sure; then put "unconfirmed" next to it. If you see an "unconfirmed" that you can confirm, please remove the "unconfirmed". Don't forget to have fun! Here's some tips to help you get as many dice recorded as possible!
1. Keep an eye out! When your opponent rolls two matching summon crests, the monsters applicable to be summoned will be briefly shown. See them and recognize them as quickly as possible! I recommend keeping paper and pen(cil) handy so that you can write it down faster.
2. Look at the crests! If your opponent rolls a Defense Crest x8, the only monster that has that is Metalzoa. If your opponent gets a Movement Crest x7 on a Zombie die, you'll see that while Exod. of Forbidden has it, it's Spellcaster, and The 13th Grave has it and is Zombie. Check! For quick access to an easy list of crests, use ctrl+f (apple+f on a Mac) on this [1]. In the find bar, type in the first letter of the crest rolled and the number of the crest, and investigate. Perfect!
3. Don't block your opponent! If you give your opponent no room to put a Dungeon Path, it'll severely limit the amount of dies you can find.
4. Items! Use this handy list for items.
If they summon or roll a level 4 item, it's a Crater Creator. That was easy.
If they summon a level 3 item, and it does not become a Warp Vortex on activation, it's an Exploding Disc. Don't step on it, please.
If they summon a level 2 item, and it does not become a Gluminizer on activation, step on it. It will be benign.
If they summon a level 1 item, step on it. The most malignant item is a Time Machine. Heh.
5. If you get bored waiting next to your opponent's Die Master, set a goal for yourself. Destroy all enemy monsters, get 99 of at least one crest, max out your dimensions, anything.
6. Don't include duplicates unless they roll more than one at the same time, more than one is one the field, or one is rolled while there is at least one on the field. Only put duplicates if they are all used in the same duel/dice battle/whatever. Got it?
