I think I know the answer but the card is not specific. Can you tribute Dragons from your hand to activate Dragonic Tactic's effect? SwordoftheSpirit (talk • contribs) 19:22, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
- It doesn't need to be specific. Whenever a card says to Tribute a monster, it is immediately assumed that whoever the effect is applied to (i.e. "Ectoplasmer"), that player must Tribute a monster on their side of the field, unless the effect text says otherwise. This is why Ritual Spell Cards like "Gishki Aquamirror" and "White Dragon Ritual" specifically mention "the field or your hand", because you can now Tribute from different places other than the field. Also, "Forbidden Arts of the Gishki" mentions specifically that you can Tribute from anywhere on the field. TL;DR No, you can't Tribute Dragon-Type monsters from your hand to activate "Dragonic Tactics". --UltimateKuriboh (talk • contribs) 19:43, June 10, 2013 (UTC)
