This page is dedicated to helping all of you new (or lazy) duelists out there that need help with their decks. If your a lazy/new duelist, We'll build you a deck. All you have to do is post here and tell us what kind of deck you want and how much money your willing to spend getting the cards. If you already have a deck, if you post it in the Deck Template form, we'll revise it and give you our insight. We'll also make a side deck upon request.

  • ex: Hi, could you make me a batteryman deck? I have a money limit of $60. ~~~~
  • ex2: Hey, would you look at this deck for me? ~~~~

If you give us a deck to build, We'll make it a personal project and make sure that you'll be pleased with the final product. Each deckbuilder will only take one deck at a time and will let everyone know when they're done with a project by posting it on the top of the page. Please note that it's your job to collect the cards, our job is to create the decklist perfect for you.

Rules and General Information

  1. Make all requests in their own section and not directly beneath another's request
  2. Have a direction for your deck (examples - Dark World, Burn, Spellcaster, Bounce-Back-To-Hand, etc.). Random strings of cards will not be helped
  3. Do not ask for more than one deck at a time as others will have to wait longer for the deckbuilder to get to them.
  4. This is a free service, but we are taking time out of our lives to help you. Be courteous and don't leave us waiting for you to answer a question.
  5. If we believe a duelist has abandoned their request, we'll place a notice on the request warning of it's removal within 24 hours unless some activity happens.
  6. Completed decks will be moved to the archive after a few days.
  7. Decks that are not signed with 4 tildes (~) will not be helped.
  8. We reserve the ability to delete any and all requests.
  9. We expect that you'll have access to and/or be able to buy cards from online retailers or hobby stores, we base all card prices on eBay.
  10. This page is not a page for people to post their opinions. Please, if you want to give your opinion on someone's deck, post it on the user's talk page.
  11. You may request a deckbuilder to help you, please note that it only ensures that deckbuilder's help. It will not ensure the immediate help of that deckbuilder.
  12. It is highly recommended that you browse the archives before requesting, you may find what you're looking for before requesting our assistance.
  13. Please post all requests at the bottom of this forum.
  14. It can take months for a deckbuilder to get to and complete a deck. Tantara is the only person that works on the oldest requests. All other deckbuilders work on the decks that they find interesting.

ANY REQUEST THAT DOES NOT FOLLOW THESE RULES CAN/WILL BE IMMEDIATELY DELETED.

FIENDISH ENGINGE OMEGA --- FINISHED

This is how far I've made it by myself. Would really appriciate some help and/or tips on this. I only have 1 copy of Fiendish Engine Ω, so I kinda want this deck centering about him staying on the field, getting out there quick and if he dies, that he'll be easy to summon back. I got no money limit. MajinViktor 09:14, February 20, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, I would really like some help. :)

  • Alright, if you've got no money limit, do you mind if I put in more than one copy of Fiendish Engine? --Tantara (talk) 19:05, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

no, go ahead. and thanks :)

  • Alright, I'm deciding whether to do a Dark Creator Turbo based on summoning out Omega from the grave or a Different Dimension deck based on tribute fodder. Would you rather have one over the other? And would you mind signing your posts for me? Thanks. --Tantara (talk) 09:41, June 27, 2010 (UTC)

The Different Dimension deck based on tribute fodder sounds nice. and yeah, I will remember, thanks. MajinViktor (talkcontribs) 16:04, June 30, 2010 (UTC)

Plus according synchro monsters.

Alright- here it is. I origionally thought of a brilliant plan including geartown and breaker the magical warrior. As Macro Cosmos/Dimensional fissure are often destroyed, i added Geartown to special summon Gadjiltron Dragon as punishment. I then realized that Geartown has to be sent to the graveyard for it's effect to work, so, of course, that was out of the question. I then decided on using Guardian Eatos, instead. I think you'll find this sufficient, would you like an explanation on how it works? --Tantara (talk) 20:16, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

yes, that would be good. still, thanks man :) MajinViktor (talkcontribs) 12:15, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Alright, as the point of the deck was to keep Omega on the field, I put in three of them as well as a basic Macro lineup (3 Macro, 2 Dimensional Fissure, 3 Survivor, and 2 Scout Plane). The basic lineup should keep a steady stream of monsters on your field, ready to be tributed for Omega. Besides that, I added 2 Breaker the Magical Warrior for a bit of spell/trap destruction which is typically difficult to use in Macro decks. You can replace these Breaker's with Dimensional, Alchemists if you like though. Anyways, Cyber Valley is included as it combos well with the tokens produced by Omega and with Scout Plane/Survivors. Summoner Monk is included to grab Survivor and Necroface is there to mess with your opponent. Each time it's removed from play, your opponent loses 5 cards permanently, use Gold Sarcophagus with it for more fun. On top of the basic Macro engine, I added a pair of Eatos, special summonable when you have no cards in your grave (Soul Release is backup with this) and it's fodder for Trade-In. Lightning Vortex clears your opp's field for large plays, MST and trunade deal with spells, and Allure and Trade-In are in there for added deck-speed. A solid defensive trap lineup is used with lots of s/t defense (1 Solemn, 1 Dark Bribe, and 2 Starlight Road should deal with Heavy Storm and such). I hope that's sufficient, feel free to ask more questions. --Tantara (talk) 17:11, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah,I wondered if "Return from the Different Dimension" would be a card that would be good too include?

  • Return from the Different Dimension's effect is too steep in today's meta to use it. Most decks nowadays make huge explosive plays and having too few lifepoints can be a deathsentence. I included DDR to try and do the same thing in a much more cautious and consistent manner. --Tantara (talk) 21:06, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Master of Oz Beast Deck

  • I am currently addicted to WC08 and i was wondering if you could bake me a deck revolving around Master of Oz? If you could i would like that the cards in the deck are from either WC08, or WC09. I don't really have a price limit since its virtual thanks. :) --Gotenks (talk) 03:21, March 5, 2010 (UTC)
  • Haha, you're kidding. I was playing World Championship 2010 and saw that card and knew I needed to make a deck around it too. But I've never made a deck around a fusion before, no idea where to start. Ochabox 05:37, March 9, 2010 (UTC)

Heroes --- FINISHED

i would like to request an elemental hero deck, i have most of the basic cards and some fusions for it, i do not have a spending limit, i would like the deck to make use the the fusions so being able to use alot of them quite quickly but still have a back up plan, preferable just the e heroes out of the current hero cards, as i dont want to use evil or destiny , the odd neo spacian would help and some outside cards, thanks. Ryeshret 18:12, March 6, 2010 (UTC)

Also preferable the anime heroes not the manga ones, stratos is good though, thx again. Ryeshret 16:19, March 10, 2010 (UTC)

  • Yes please, a change on which heroes, i dont mind which ele heroes used, but still not evil or destiny etc.., thx Ryeshret (talkcontribs) 22:39, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
  • Alright, no problem. I've always wanted to make a decent Hero deck. I'll get right on it. --Tantara (talk) 10:39, July 4, 2010 (UTC)
  • Thanks very much for taking, take as long as needed.Ryeshret (talkcontribs) 21:34, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Extra - 15

Here you go, it's pretty fast and consistent. King of the Swamp is CRUCIAL in this deck. --Tantara (talk) 22:14, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

  • You need to see rule 12.

In Archive 1, the 12th deck is exactly what you requested. I know that i shouldn't be posting here, but i just wanted to tell you so tantara dosen't have to. TwosidedDragon 21:13, March 26, 2010 (UTC)

Inca Deck

So I haven't seen this archetype requested in terms of deck-making and I was wondering if someone could make me an Inca deck based around cycling the moon and sun. I don't have much of a spending limit, so use whatever cards you deem necessary. Thanks in advance! 72.126.67.252 00:36, March 22, 2010 (UTC)

Fairy Deck (Counter Flavored?)

I'm just getting back into YGO after taking a four-year hiatus or so from the game, and my old decks are in sad need of updating. I'm not aiming to make this deck competition worthy, just strong enough to keep up in casual play with friends who have followed each of the releases. I have a budget of about $150 to make the deck, and with some exceptions (1 each Honest, Solemn Judgement, Seven Tools of the Bandit, Mirror Force, Mystical Space Typhoon) all of the cards would need to be purchased. I'd also prefer not to spend more than $25 on any given card if possible.

Thoughts on ways to improve it? 174.124.22.74 06:44, April 2, 2010 (UTC)

  • Want help? This is easily done. --Tantara (talk) 22:26, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Magician's Mastery

Could you make me a Magician deck. I have a cash limit of 70$, preferrably less though. I would like this deck to combine old and new. For example having Arcanite Magician and Dark Paladin. A side deck would be nice as well, thanks.209.19.127.66 07:17, April 5, 2010 (UTC)

Big City Synchro

Could you guys make a E-hero synchro deck, id like it to have mostly light monsters and maybe a couple of Cyber Dragons and a D.D. Warrior Lady. Also it would be nice if it could bring out Level 8 Synchros fast. Got no budget! Thanks in advance!!! Geobow 20:36, April 6, 2010 (UTC)

If it is easier for you guys to fix a deck rather than make one from zero i can try building it on my own and then bring it here for fixes.... Geobow 15:53, April 21, 2010 (UTC)

So.... i took a look at the city deck and saw that little city is xloser to my likes and the deck im asking for..... so i decided to make it a little city deck! Hope that someone can pick up my request soon... cant wait for it! :) Geobow 19:47, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

Spell counter Synchro Deck -- FINISHED

I'm trying to make a good spellcaster deck that abuses spell counters a lot. I've been working on it for awhile but i just started playing not to long ago and i could use some help. Cost isn't really an issue because i have most of the cards I'll probably need already and I've already got all the spellcaster synchros. I'd like something thats really aggressive and consistent if possible. Anorexorcist 04:05, April 8, 2010 (UTC)

This should be somewhat along the lines that you're looking for. I can explain any questions, comments, or concerns that you may have.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 08:21, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Rudger's spiders

Hey. I've decided to being a pure dark signer, and the insects interested me alot. You think you can create a spider deck that focuses on the earthbound god uru, and also its synchro, underground arachnid? Money is no problem. I just can't think right now. Thanks in advance 64.255.180.236 10:47, April 13, 2010 (UTC)

Morphtronic suggestions

Hi! I just started playing yu-gi-oh again about a month ago, and I haven't played in four years. A lot has changed. Anyway, I now have a Morphtronic deck, but want tips to improve it. I don't have much of a budget, meaning I am willing to buy any card that one might suggest, except Mirror Force. My cards are as follows:

I was looking to add 2x United We Stand, 1x Mage Power, 2 x Power Tool Dragon ( I have one now) and one [Swords of Revealing light]]. I don't know what to take out for United We Stand or Mage Power, or if I should add swords at all. Suggestions would be very much appreciated. --Morphman 04:50, April 17, 2010 (UTC)

Machina Gadget Deck

Hi! i was wondering how to make a competitive Machina Gadget Deck with some synchro twist. can someone make me at least a sample deck? Thanks alot. June23ly 06:13, April 17, 2010 (UTC)

SoL Hopeless Deck

Hi, I changed my request and would like a SoL Hopeless deck made. No budget limit. Thanks. Melchsee 03:35, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

Zombies

Hello kings of deck-making, I present you with my humble request. I looked through your archives, and while there are a couple of zombie decks already made, I thought mine was under different enough circumstances to post again. I'm looking to make a Zombie deck which is enjoyable to play, with lots of special summoning/reviving but is also good enough to hold its own against good decks. I have yet to buy any zombie cards, but made this deck hypothetically out of the two zombie structure decks (zombie madness, and zombie world) as well as a couple of other singles (Il Blud, Goblin zombie's and vampires curse). I have a couple of other cards that might be useful like solidarity, swords of revealing light, and Gorz.

I was wondering if someone could make a proper/strong deck with a similar budget (this would cost 2 structure decks+ maybe 10/15 $ worth of cards (Australian $ mind you), and a fun Zombie like theme. I'll be as responsive as possible if that helps you guys. Thanks in advance (:

122.106.94.81 06:45, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

edit: changed it up a bit, cleaned up the table. Added a gorz and kasha.. maybe it will be alright as it is. Just let me know whenever 122.106.94.81 03:01, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

Waters of Codarus -- FINISHED

PLEASE take you time, i am very paicent so dont feel like im rushing you and I cant wait to see it if you deside to help me and thank you for taking you time and helping a newbie like me. 3:43, April 29, 2010 (UTC) Gengar Griffen hj;

Do you still want help? I can take this.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 23:45, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

If you're wondering why I chose Umi over A Legendary Ocean, it's because A Legendary Ocean messes up your Level Stars for Synchro Summoning. The rest of the deck should be pretty basic. You can save your monsters with Forgotten Temple, then come out swinging next turn. Codarus with a Solidarity makes a 2200 attacker, so you should be able to control and beat down your opponent efficiantly with your favorite monster. Lastly, I included a single Levia-Dragon - Daedalus, since he's essentially Codarus' big brother, and he can clear the field if things get out of hand.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 03:18, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

VayuSworn Deck

I have been thinking of making a twilight like deck which uses the milling power of the lightsworns to mill cards like Blackwing - Vayu the Emblem of Honor and Blackwing - Sirocco the Dawn to the graveyard as quickly as possible for my regionals. What are the cards required for this deck? Please leave your comments and contribution below. Canonink 09:11, April 25, 2010 (UTC)

P.S I'm an OCG player and i'm willing to pay any amount to get the cards required for this deck. Canonink 13:07, April 26, 2010 (UTC)

Jester Lord Clown Deck

I was wondering if someone could build a deck for me based on Jester lord, The Tricky, Peten the Dark Clown, and Saggi the Dark Clown. It could be with or without Syncro monsters whichever works best. I don't have much of a spending limit but I do have access to just about any card. The only useful card I can think of offhand I don't have access to is Mirrior Force. Any help is welcomed. Thanks. 4.248.255.10 18:17, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Oh I forgot about Dream Clown, Crass Clown, and Jester Confit. Also any monsters fitting the theme I forgot about or just plain don't know about. 4.248.255.10 18:25, May 1, 2010 (UTC)

Valhalla-Synchro deck In need of advice PLEASE!!!!!!!! -- FINISHED

Hello guys, I'd like you to give me some advice with my deck, it is based on the concept of abusing the effect of "Valhalla Hall Of The Fallen", but at the same time being flexible enough to allow synchro monsters to be special summoned, but to tell you the truth, the freaking deck only runs smoothly when it feels like it.

OK guys, that's pretty much my deck, I've tried to make it somewhat anti-meta but I don't know.... the decks that are hard to beat for me are blackwings and the one that uses plants, anyway, hope you can help me and thanks in advance.

Please, anyone that's available, but preferably BEWK THX.

Come on guys, I really need some help with my deck!!!!! can't you see I'm begging here????.

Guys please help me, I just need some advice, besides it's not like you have to create the deck entirely, it just needs some minor tweaks, also I don't have a spending limit. Lighness 05:21, May 9, 2010 (UTC)

I've changed around your deck to make it more consistant and controlling. Tell me how you like it. -bewk 22:13, May 29, 2010 (UTC)

Thank god you helped me!!!!! I've been too much waiting for someone to help me with the deck but I'm glad you did it, about the changes that you made, to tell you the truth I never expectedthem, and I'm a little surprised you took Kristya out but that's OK, I like the looks of the new format and I can't wait to test it thanks BEWK!!!! oh, before I forget, do you think it's a good idea to use herald of perfection on this deck?Lighness 21:42, May 31, 2010 (UTC)

The use of the Herald would require the modification of most of the deck. If you really want to do that, I can make it happen, but the cost would be somewhat large. -bewk 02:18, June 6, 2010 (UTC)

Well it really doesn't matter if the cost increases, so yeah, I'd like to see a deck using that herald and maybe kristya thanks in advance BEWK 69.228.42.4 22:01, June 8, 2010 (UTC)

Armed Samurai Ben-Kei/ Power Tool!

I've been attempting this deck for a little while, but no matter what I seem to do I can't get it fixated. I have a spending limit of $100 total, so suggest away. Anyways, this is what I have so far, and I'm just needing a fresh start. I attempted to modify the Gemini Warrior Deck (Forgot the actual name) with Armed Samurai and Power Tool Dragon. It didn't work to my liking, but I wanted to keep the mainstays of those (Namely Evocator Chevalier) around because they did help somewhat.

Here's the list of what I feel is what I want the deck to keep. I'm always open to better suggestions, even though really I'm just looking for good filler.

Thanks in advance and if you have any questions lemme know! :) Katsuma-San 08:11, May 11, 2010 (UTC)

If you are still looking for help with this deck, I would be more than glad to give you assistance. Hpboy111 (talkcontribs) 18:55, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yes, I am thank you very much :) If you have any questions, let me know! Katsuma-San (talkcontribs) 01:53, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

That's fantastic that you're willing to help, but please keep this outside of this thread. I know we seem strict with our rules, but we're trying to bring back this program in a neat and organized manner, meaning that only us specified deckbuilders and the people making the requests should be posting here. Please continue this between your Talk Pages.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 02:10, July 10, 2010 (UTC)

Woo! Thank you and yes i would like the help if you'd be so kind! Evenged7x (talkcontribs) 17:25, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

This should be more consistent than what you have right now. You mentioned that you had a monetary limit of 30 dollars, but Gold Sarcophagus is a very good card for Fortune Ladies, even better when you want to search out Aslla. I also included Level Eater, since it can feed off of Darky, or Watery if she’s been on-field for a turn. It’s great for Tribute Summoning your Earthbound Immortal. Please leave a message here or on my Talk Page if you have any questions, comments, or concerns about the deck.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 20:19, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Ok so i have some questions...

Thanks for the decklist i'll get to it right away Evenged7x (talkcontribs) 15:04, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Whoops! Buster Blader isn’t supposed to be in the deck, I just copied a Deck Template that included Buster Blader as an example card.

I wouldn’t recommend Different Dimension Capsule, actually. The card is removed from play face-down, which makes it unable to be returned through Fortune’s Future, and the Capsule is extremely vulnerable to Spell and Trap removal, which you don’t want since you would be searching Lighty almost all of the time. If you can’t get the card no matter what, I would recommend using another Rai-Mei and a Brain Control as substitutes for now.

Nobleman of Crossout is a good card here. Both Aslla Piscu and Future Visions will encourage your opponent to Set their monsters, where Nobleman of Crossout can kill them.Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 16:37, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Inca deck

Hey, could someone build me an Inca deck?? I don't see anyone using that archetype, so I would like a deck revolving around getting out the sun and moon and then abusing their abilities. There is no time limit or money limit.Contributions/70.133.152.104 20:12, May 25, 2010 (UTC) Thanks!!!

Birth of Blue-eyes

I am trying to make a deck that uses birthright to bring Blue-eyes back from the graveyard. It is also a Beatdown/Synchro deck so thats why some cards are in there. I am only 12 years old so I don't have that good cards. It looks like I have a lot of useless cards in there so you could change a lot of stuff.

Could you sign your post and list an amount you are willing to spend? Without those, we cannot help your deck. -bewk 01:41, May 30, 2010 (UTC)

I am willing to spend around $60 dollars. My username is pyroking101. Sorry I am not sure how to use the wikia yet.

So far it works fine, no real issues at all but it'll be nice if you could power it up for tournament level 'cuz honestly I don't think it can survive against the current meta..... the cost is not an issue, hope you can help me and thanks in advance Lighness 21:54, June 17, 2010 (UTC)

What do you want to have the deck do? From the looks of the deck at the moment, it looks like a DARK Synchro deck... If you can tell me what the win condition is, I think I can help you out a little.--Akiza Izayoi 14:37, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

You're totally right!, The winning condition of this deck is usually synchro as soon as possible to dump dark monsters to bring DAD to the field, however I added some light monsters to get Chaos Sorcerer, so for me is kind of twilight but I don't know...... hope this explanation (sorta...) helps Lighness 19:53, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Erm, so do you want it to be pure DARK Synchro, or a Twilight build?--Akiza Izayoi 20:01, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

I think I'll go with a twilight build 'cuz it's fun when my opponents destroy my monsters with torrential tribute only to be open for an attack from Chaos Sorcerer LOL!!, but if you think that pure dark synchro is a better choice..... Lighness 20:15, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

From my personal experiances, Twilight is a lot stronger and has potential for better turns and combos, but DARK Synchro is usually a lot more consistant, and gets better hands.--Akiza Izayoi 20:34, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Now I'm totally in the middle, I can't decide...... would it be too much to ask if you make an example of each :P Lighness 20:47, June 18, 2010 (UTC)

Actually, now that I think about it, I probably won't be able to make a Twilight build. The last Twilight deck I made had a Lightsworn basse, and that was before March... I can pull off the DARK Synchro, but you might need someone elses's assistance for the Twilight.--Akiza Izayoi 03:12, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

Very well then, if that's the case a DARK synchro it is 'cuz even if you could make a twilight build if it includes lightsworns then no thanks, I never liked those, so yeah, if you can lend me a hand I'll appreciate it AkiLighness 06:43, June 19, 2010 (UTC)

  • You can very well make a Twilight build. The Lightsworn base just needs a little variation. Usually in the form of Garoth and Jain. As you can see from YCS and Anaheim builds, There has also been an increase in the lesser Aurkus also due to an increase of targeting monster effects. I can take this request if you would prefer a Twilight build. This is NYKid. 80.78.79.154 13:53, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah, let's give it a try, if you are willing to take my request, then I gladly accept, but do you think it will have some tournament potential? and about the lightsworn base, is it going to include too many lighsworns? 'cuz as I said before, lightsworns are like the las choice for me, I don't like them that much but if you think that's the way to go for a twilight build then yes please. Lighness 03:08, June 23, 2010 (UTC)

  • I can do it. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I've been on TCGplayer much more than on here. I barely ever check the wikia anymore. This and the Deck Guide project are the only things tying me to the wikia anymore. NYKid8295 (talkcontribs) 17:11, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Don't worry dude, the very fact that you're replying to my request is enough to me, besides it's true that I want to have the build that you're going to make for me but iin the meantime I can stick to my current deck since it runs good enough so yeah, thanks again for taking my request and take your time Lighness (talkcontribs) 07:10, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Guessing it's a stun deck.

Hi!, I'm guessing you guys are in a busy time now, since it's summer and request is coming to a all time high and such. I don't mind my request being last at all. So yea, back to the point... A deck that utilize Chain Destruction, Chain Disappearance, Deck Devastation Virus and Eradicator Epidemic Virus. If all 4 can't be use, then 3 out of those 4 cards are fine. If this deck can't be made then no need to write a large paragraph saying why, just get straight to the point and let me down, I don't mind. 75.2.223.37 04:55, June 22, 2010 (UTC)

Gadget Oppression

Hey guys I just need to get some input on this deck I am trying to make a gadget oppression build and was wondering where do I go from here. Also, I would like to spend only $20-$30 more on this deck if possible, however I should be able to trade, or own many cards so just suggest only cards in this price range please :)

Silent Lockdown

Hi, I'm currently trying to make a Silent magician LV 8 lockdown deck, using "Secret Village of the Spellcasters", 'Royal Decree" "Horus the Black Flame lv8 (and the other ones)" "Jinzo" and "Chaos Sorcerer Magician".

I keep trying to make one, but it's always unbalanced; I can't make the right mix. I'd love some help and to see what you guys can do, and remember: IT HAS TO FIT ADVANCED FORMAT. Oh, and I don't have a money limit.

Cyber Dragon -- FINISHED

Hi, got intested in cyber theme recently and this is the deck I just made. The main focus is getting chimeratech or cyber twin out for otk. Jinzos and Future Fusion are fillers currently and I dont usually use much of Overload Fusion. Anyway to make it more consistent ?? Help appreciated, Cheers!

Nocturnal2 (talkcontribs) 11:20, June 28, 2010 (UTC)

Cyber Dragon Zwei and Evolution Burst are two very good additions to the Cyber archetype. Machina Armored Unity should help too, thinning your deck out for your needed cards, and grabbing Cyber Valley in a pinch. I removed DNA Surgery because the only real combo it had was with Fortress Dragon, and it seemed like a dead draw otherwise. I think this build will be more consistent and to your liking, pulling off OTKs more often. If you run into any trouble with the deck, or have any questions, please let me know.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 04:24, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Machina Build -- FINISHED

this deck is very good already i'm just looking for a nudge in the right direction so if anyone wants to pick this project up go for it.

please and thanks Adaptdeckplayer (talkcontribs) 22:07, June 27, 2010 (UTC)Adaptdeckplayer

Sorry for taking out the Cyber Fusions, they made the deck inconsistent. You may have to buy another Structure Deck to build this, but that won't cost too much, right? Tell me what you think of it. -bewk 21:10, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
  • Machina Peacekeeper S-U-C-K-S. Just thought you should know that BEWK. Does absolutely nothing in the deck. Gearframe loop, thats it. Too slow because it has to be destroyed. I could appreciate it if it was at least upon summon. Definitely go with a 3rd Gearframe and 3rd Compulsory. Compulsory is chainable. Take out D Prison for 2 Fissure exactly because of that. Also, if you are going to use Soldier, I suggest a 3rd Fortress for it. Maybe not but I have found it dead in my deck even with 3 Gearframe and Fortress. Otherwise, looks good. ~NYKid 80.78.79.154 (talk) 23:43, July 3, 2010 (UTC)
    • I didn't want the guy to have to buy two more Structure Decks. I can see how your fixes would help, though. -bewk 16:47, July 7, 2010 (UTC)

Fabled Deck -- TAKEN

I have had a post on here for a little while, saying that I wanted a Deck ulilizing Spirit Monsters, but I didn't really give a direction I wanted the Deck to go in, well, i've thought about it, and have decided to try and make a Fabled/Spirit Hybrid deck (I know Fabled Monsters arn't out in TCG yet, but they will be soon). My plan is to use the Fabled monsters' mass Swarming abilities to get out high level Spirits in one turn by utilizing the discarding effect of Spiritual Energy Settle Machine to discard and thus special summon many Fabled Monsters. Unfortunatly, however, I do not know where to go from this. Could someone please help? This is what I have so far... (This has changed, see comments below...)

Aside from Brionac, the Synchros would not play into the stategy of the deck, it would simply be easy to get level 5, 6, and 7 Synchros out using The Fabled Cerburrel. Level 7s would be simplist using The Tricky and The Fabled Cerburrel 24.210.152.254 (talk) 19:39, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

I think I can try this one. I've never dabbled in Fabled monsters before, but this looks interesting.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 20:14, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Thank You! It Will be greatly Appreciated!! 24.210.152.254 (talk) 04:32, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Based on what I’ve attempted, there’s really no synergy between Spirit Monsters and Fabled Monsters other than the sole engine of Spiritual Energy Settle Machine. For this and a few other reasons, I don’t think the deck concept will work out or run smoothly.

Even though you can keep your Spirits on-field thanks to the Settling Machine, there really aren’t any Spirits worth Summoning that you want to keep out. Yamata Dragon and Hino-Kagu are great, but they each require Tributes, and would then be vulnerable to a simple Mystical Space Typhoon, Dust Tornado, Breaker the Magical Warrior/any other S/T removal. The rest of the Spirits I looked through either enjoyed going back to your hand to save themselves, or preferred being Set first.

Your Spiritual Energy Settle Machine would be hard to search out and protect, plus the downside about the discard… it happens during the End Phase. Fabled Monsters like to discard their friends and themselves in order to pull off combos, but activating one of their effects at your own End Phase leaves you very vulnerable, and prevents a lot of comboing through Synchros and such. If the discarded Monster Summons itself, it wouldn’t be able to attack, or do anything useful.

Another thing… Fableds and Spirits usually only like to discard and work with their friends, other Fableds and Spirits respectively. Adding monsters in the deck that aren’t of their kind will limit your options a lot, and leave you wishing you had more Fabled Monsters at the time, or more Spirit monsters.

Lastly, the speed limit of the deck. The prevention of Spirits being Normal Summon/Set only will stop you from pulling off a LOT of combos, and the only Spirit that can be Special Summoned has the requirement of removing another Spirit from play, where they don’t like to be.

I apologize for the huge explanation, but I feel that I had to give a few reasons why the deck wouldn’t run smoothly. I can still gladly make you another deck, but I just don’t feel that this combination will work.Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 04:03, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks anyways. I might just have to face the fact that it seems to be nearly impossible to make a top-tier Spirit deck. I must ask though, would it be possible for you to make a purely Fabled deck even though they do not come out until the 20th? I can't imagine how you would test it. Anyways, if I try to make a purely Fabled deck and post it here, would you still help me with that, if even able to? I understand if you couldn't do anything till the 20th. 24.210.152.254 (talk) 19:01, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Of course I can make a Fabled deck for you. I test the decks out using proxies, so it’s not difficult. However, I do have numerous other requests right now, so I actually might not get to this for a a few days regardless.Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 19:42, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Well, Thank You! I don't mind waiting (cant do anything with 'em till the 20th anyway) I've started to make a Fabled Deck on my own, and, to save space, have replaced it with my Fabled Spirits Decklist. I think im decently good at compliling monsters, but im horrible at choosing the Spells and Traps to go with them. Thanks again for helping me build/improve a Fabled Deck :) 24.210.152.254 (talk) 20:52, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Ice Barrier Deck -- FINISHED

Hi, could someone please take a look at my deck?
It does pretty ok... except for the fact that you will have zero hand advantage in the late game...
This deck mainly revolves sending Ice Barrier monsters to the graveyard via Strategist of the Ice Barrier and then reiviving them with General Gantala of the Ice Barrier and then stalling till the time is right. With this, the synching power is quite immense. So far I had 2 games where I was able to bring out all four Ice Barrier Synchros. So its like a lockdown-synchro deck. Levia Dragon is sort of a last resort card, if my opponent has more field advantage than I do, I will summon him and blow the field up.

I don't have a budget.

Thanks! NightxRise (talkcontribs) 14:41, June 29, 2010 (UTC)

I think I can take a shot at this.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 19:37, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you! ^^ --NightxRise (talkcontribs) 11:09, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

This should be much more consistant. Crest of the Ice Barrier is.... good. If the lore of the card gets changed, I can edit the deck to adjust.

As you requested, the strategy should be a sort of lockdown/synchro. Bottomless Trap Hole and Divine Warning can slap opposing monsters in the face, Raiho can seal off pesky effect monsters (AND COMPLETELY SCREWS OVER INFERNITIES), Defender and Cryomancer can stall if necessary, Medium prevents your monsters from being destroyed by most other means, and Spellbreaker can be really nasty. Try using her effect at your Main Phase 2, after you’ve obliterated your opponents defenses with Magic Triangle and are done searching through Crest. During your next turn, just toss her for a Synchro Summon with Defender or Cryomancer, then your Dragons can really start the beatdown!

Please tell me what you think of the deck, and if there is any way I can improve it more to your liking.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 23:12, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for all that you've done! I appreciate it a lot!
I've tried and tested it with proxies and here's what I feel:

It works a lot better against attacking decks, but other stalling decks can kill it... Like burn for example.
Unless I get Medium out fast and keep her there, chain burn and trap burn (Ceasefire,Just Desserts) will deal quite a lot of damage due to the Ice Barrier's high field advantage.
Also, Dai-sojo of the Ice Barrier kinda helped as it prevented my monsters from being nuked by Lightning Vortex, Mirror Force and Torrential Tribute or destroyed by a Smashing Ground. (I know that spell breaker can prevent all the spells from harming them, but there's always a random Sakuretsu Armor somewhere =D) Secret Guards of the Ice Barrier was kinda useful as it prevented destruction from Dark Armed Dragon and Fortune Lady Fire(no one likes a burnt Trishula).
I guess other Synchro Monsters can help avert all of the above, like Black-Winged Dragon for the burn prevention and Stardust Dragon for monster destruction. Still, do you think using a Starlight Road or My Body as a Shield would be useful for spell, trap and other destructions like Judgment Dragon or Black Rose Dragon?
When I play with this deck, I kinda wish having General Grunard of the Ice Barrier in due to the high amount of monsters I will have in my hand due to Salvage and Crest of the Ice Barrier. I think that general is good for the late game after you have used Water Hazard and you have about 3 or more monsters on the field.
Another point would be about Call of the Haunted. I had it in as you can discard General Gantala of the Ice Barrier via Strategist of the Ice Barrier and revive him easily before the end phrase for the summon of an Ice Barrier monster.
All in all, I need a way to ensure that my dragons hit the field safely. A Book of Moon completely destroys Trishula's effect and the opponent's Bottomless Trap Holes and Solemn Judgments will stop the dragons in their tracks. Maybe a Royal Decree or a Cold Wave?

Thanks again for your help! --NightxRise (talkcontribs) 09:39, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

You can probably remove Samurai, and replace it with something else. I never really liked his effect, he was just included for his use as a beatstick. Secret Guards or Dai-Sojo wouldn’t be bad replacements, depending on the deck type you face. As for Call of the Haunted, I figured that Gantala would work as your Coth, and that Triangle would be Special Summoning him most often. You can try out Cold Wave, and see how it works for you. If you have any other questions or problems with the deck, feel free to leaves a message here or on my Talk Page.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 09:53, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

May I ask you why the field cards were removed? With legendary ocean, all level 4 ice barrier monsters on my side of the field would be able to attack under cryomancer's ability.
--NightxRise (talkcontribs) 02:20, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Cryomancer isn’t even in the deck for his ability. I only included him for more targets with Salvage, as an alternate Level 2 Tuner, or possible stalling until you can pull out a Synchro. You should probably be using him for either discard fodder, or to stall at the right moment (Bringing him back with Gantala at the End Phase so your opponent can’t attack, then Synchroing with him next turn so you ‘’’can’’’ attack). I figured that Water Hazard would provide a lot more field advantage, and let you bring out monsters like the Spellbreaker and Defender in face-up Defense mode right off the bat. A Legendary Ocean would force you to put a lot more effort into Synchro Summoning, just to get a few more ATK and DEF points, and some minor lock escapage.Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 02:58, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

Monarch Control -- FINISHED

Hey, if anyone has the time please make me a Monarch Control Deck under $30. I would like some Synchros but not too many I just want a good Tournament Style Monarch Control Deck. If you could also state how long this might take because I tend to get impatient. Please and Thanks! Adaptdeckplayer (talkcontribs) 00:47, June 30, 2010 (UTC)Adaptdeckplayer

  • We are 70 decks behind... I can tell you when we'll get to this, when we're thirty. Do you really expect us to be done with this anytime soon? If you're impatient, leave. We have 70 other decks to get to. You have already put up 2 requestd. Choose one, just one... I can take the Machina request. I run the Machinas and Gadgets as well, they are one of my specialties.

  • well BEWK has already started and is almost done with my Machina request so can anyone do this deck? I'm not looking for it to be done any time soon but i don't want to wait too long. The longest i'll wait will be 1 month until someone starts this deck. Please and Thanks Adaptdeckplayer (talkcontribs) 19:25, July 3, 2010 (UTC)Adaptdeckplayer

I just checked the prices of the cards you would need, and there's no way anyone could build a tournament-worthy Monarch Control deck for 30 dollars. Raiza the Storm Monarch is approximately $6.00, and Caius the Shadow Monarch is around $5.00. You would need 3 of each to build an efficient Monarch deck, but those two cards alone add up to 33.00.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 00:31, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

  • Well I already have like three of every Monarch so those guys are covered. It's just the deck I need done.

Remember to sign your posts. And here you go.

I'm not sure if this is outside of your budget or not (Assuming you have most of the staples), but I can edit it down a bit if you want.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 02:22, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Genex deck

I'm having a bit of a hard time making the current genex cards in the tcg actually be good so i need help building a deck for them. I have 3 of every Genex card currently out in the TCG (synchros as well). I Would like the deck to be based around quick synchroing and good field presence monster wise. Don't really have a high budget since i have most of the cards so go crazy. Thanks in advance Latiosking (talkcontribs) 05:08, July 2, 2010 (UTC)

Total Lockdown -- FINISHED

Here's a deck that i made with one intention : to completely lock ALL the options that my opponent might make, which is to completely seal the activation of magic, Trap and Monsters effect.

i thought of using Angel 07, Destiny Hero - Plasma, Splendid Venus, Horus series but i don't have them right now so this is the build i made. They work, but with low success rate in completely locking down my opponent's deck. Please help me upgrade the deck (and make the deck more compact, 40-50 cards only) so that the complete lockdown rate will be much higher than it currently is. Thanks —— tommy666 0452hr, 3rd July 2010(UTC)

I could take this, but you would have to change the engine entirely. It would be an easier route to Summon Destiny Hero - Plasma while having Royal Decree and Secret Village of the Spellcasters on the field.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 01:10, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Well fire away then. Don't worry anything about the budget, you can let the price go sky high if you want, as long as the deck works perfectly. But, ain't Secret Village of the Spellcasters workable for a spellcaster deck only? Preferable, i want the deck to be of mixed attribute/type and not focused on type/attribute/name. Thanks a lot. —— tommy666 0630hr, 4th July 2010(UTC)

You’re correct in that Secret Village of the Spellcasters needs a magician on-field to maintain the lock, but remember that Plasma doesn’t need to be Summoned using Destiny Hero monsters. As long as you have Plasma, Village, Decree + random Spellcaster monster on field, you’ll be in control. In addition, attacking monsters shouldn’t pose too much of a problem, since Plasma can simply steal anything away that poses a threat.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 06:50, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Oh and regarding Plasma, i don't really get his effect. Well you see, it says 'Once per turn, select your opponent's monster and equip it to this card. (You can only equip 1 monster at a time to this card.) This card gains ATK equal to half of the ATK of the equipped monster' But how long does that monster remain to be the equip card for Plasma? One turn or for as long as i wish it to be or what? Well i really look forward seeing this deck in play. I can imagine my opponent's expression already XD —— tommy666 0702hr, 4th July 2010(UTC)

Each turn, if Plasma doesn’t already have a monster, he can take one. That monster remains equipped unless destroyed by removal (Mystical Space Typhoon, Heavy Storm) or until Plasma is no longer face-up. Once he no longer has an Equipped monster, he can go ahead and steal another one during your Main Phase.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 07:31, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Then i presume the selected monster becomes equip card ya? May i ask how many copy of Plasma will you put into the deck? Because i'm gonna order it online in like a day or two. Thank you. —— tommy666 1352hr, 4th July 2010(UTC)

I’m going to include 2 copies of Plasma. Just one wouldn’t be enough, and playing three would ensure you draw him more often than needed.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 18:21, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

This is whast I ended up with. I used Tantara’s Spellcaster Lockdown deck as a base, since it was a very well-built deck and followed the same lines as what you were requesting.

The strategy is relatively simple, just try to maintain field presence through Gravekeeper’s Spies, Magical Exemplar, Kycoo, and other Spellcasters. Secret Village will be locking them out of their Spells, and hopefully you’ll be able to draw into Plasma and Royal Decree in time to complete the shutdown. From there, just beat through their remaining defenses, using the Synchro powers of Night’s End Sorcerer and an equipped Plasma.

The main problems with the deck will be getting Plasma and Royal Decree in time. Decree is Semi-Limited, so I added a single Trap Stun as a minor substitute. Plasma would be a dead draw far too often running at 3, so he had to stay at 2. Book of Moon can substitute for him when needed, sealing off an Effect monster when Plasma isn’t around, and Gold Sarcophagus can search out either of those combo pieces.

Please feel free to leave a message here or on my Talk Page if you want to discuss about the deck, or have any questions or problems.Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 20:24, July 4, 2010 (UTC)

Well,i can't say i'm very, totally, utterly, completely, absolutely satisfied with the built because it is still somehow look very much like a spellcaster deck to me. However i can't deny the fact that its a good built, and i'm wondering whether its the system went haywire or did you insert the wrong name. Musician King X3?? I can see that there could be a sync with Instant Fusion but are you really sure its this card? —— tommy666 0816hr, 5th July 2010(UTC)

  • I can answer that. Musician King is a level 5 SPELLCASTER that's summonable by Instant Fusion. It allows you to tune with Night's End for access to lvl7 synchro's (Arcanite Magician, in particular) --Tantara (talk) 20:36, July 5, 2010 (UTC)

It's also a free Tribute for Plasma. As for making the deck multi-typed, it would be nearly impossible to find enough synergy between those types and strategies to combine into one deck.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 01:45, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

I see. Well, its fine if it had to be this way. And, what do you think about this card? Flamvell Magician? Would it boost the deck? I was wondering if this would help the deck. Thanks for deck. —— tommy666 0657hr, 6th July 2010(UTC)

I don’t think you need the Magician. The reason Night’s End is included, is mainly because of his RFG effect (Your opponent can say good-bye to any Judgment Dragon plays, Vayu swarms, Infernity OTKs, and the like), and because he’s extremely easy to Summon through Exemplar. Just one Spell gets him on field, and that’s another check for Plasma fodder. You shouldn’t be thinking too much about Synchro Summoning, unless it would win you the game that turn, or put you at a huge advantage without risks. A near-perfect opening play would be this…

I Summon Magical Exemplar, and activate Secret Village of the Spellcasters. 2 Counters. I activate Foolish Burial, sending Night’s End Sorcerer to the Graveyard. 4 Counters. I activate Instant Fusion twice, bringing out two Musician Kings. 8 Counters. I remove two of those Counters to bring back Night’s End, then Tribute Night’s End and both of my Kings for Destiny Hero – Plasma. I Set my Royal Decree and end my turn. Good luck.Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 07:10, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Yeah that is a great combination but i'm afraid you've forgotten the fact that only 1 Instant Fusion can be activated per turn. But the combination of yours was scary enough even if with 1 Instant Fusion used. —— tommy666 1218hr, 6th July 2010(UTC)

Need help on my deck, no budget limit, any cards are fine. Help will be very appreciated , thx. 118.136.188.123 (talk) 06:21, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

  • Edited the deck. Heavier LS line-up for a pair of Judgment Dragon. A lot of s/t protection should ensure the deck runs smoothly. Any questions? ~ NYKid 80.78.79.154 (talk) 23:53, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

Nope, Thanks for getting this so quick! The deck works better than before, unfortunately I am short in money ATM , so I have to proxied some cards first. But I don't like the deck being 41, maybe because i'm quite used to a deck of 40, can you make it a 40 card deck? Thanks. 118.136.188.123 (talk) 12:11, July 6, 2010 (UTC)

Six Samurai Deck -- FINISHED

Well, i need some improvements to this deck. Thanks! oh yah btw, can help me make it as cheap as possible yet I want it to be strong. hope this is not a tall order. Thanks, if anybody helps. :D 218.186.13.231 (talk) 12:45, July 3, 2010 (UTC) 218.186.13.231 (talk) 12:42, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

I don’t think it needed much work. You don’t need Shien’s Footsoldier (Gateway of the Six does enough searching for you), but Six Samurai United will pretty much ALWAYS get the double draw, so it should be in threes. I added Reasoning, a Samurai staple, and changed your Trap line-up a bit. Bottomless should do better than Waboku in terms of stopping damage, and Starlight Road (Although you can probably remove this) can protect Gateway of the Six and other important stuff.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 23:29, July 3, 2010 (UTC)

God's Beatdown

This is a decklist for a beatdown deck involving the Egyptian Gods, the Wicked Gods, and the Sacred Beasts. I was hoping to get a critique on how i could make this deck as strong and as fast as possible. There is no real spending limit, as I'm sure is obvious from the monsters this deck is built around. Thanks!! d(^_^)b Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 15:33, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and i was wondering, does anyone know what the name of a card that changes the type of the monsters on the field, ala DNA Surgery? i thought i saw one a while ago, but i can't remember what it was called... Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 15:38, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

There’s no real way to make a consistent and powerful deck utilizing every single available “god” card. If you could cut the number of win conditions down by either removing the set of Sacred Beasts or Wicked Gods, then maybe we could help you out more.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 01:21, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

I think I'll get rid of the Sacred Beasts then, and make a deck with them in it another time. Thanksf ro showing an interest in the deck, I really appreciate it. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 13:12, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

The Wicked Gods seem to be more important for what i was hoping for in this deck; such as using the wicked eraser to clear the field. Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 16:17, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

All right then. I might be able to take this, but you need to understand that i’m very backed up on requests, may it be here, or personal requests. I will get to this though, I can promise that.--Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 17:35, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Thank you very much, I'll take any help your willing to give at any time. Thanks!!!!!!!! Jon Kovacs (talkcontribs) 18:17, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Alien Genex

How about this: an Alien Genex mix deck. I've been trying a long time to mix the two, but I usually fail at it, (you guys probaly understand how hard it is to mix two archetypes), and I wanted to bring it to my local tournament(s). I am in no rush for it to be done, there is a tournament once every two months, so I won't have to wait long to use it after it's finished, and I have no money limit. Seriously, spend all the time you want (can , lol) on this, and you don't have to worry about time I've got all the time in the world. Good luck, and I hope you will have as much fun creating it as I will when I'm using it. Thanks in advance! Drew-Gi-Oh! (talkcontribs) 23:46, July 8, 2010 (UTC)

Need a rating, suggestion for improvement or just a comment on it.

I created this deck quite recently and I would really like some comments on it. I know some cards are forbidden/limited, but it doesn't matter since I don't play official duels. Generally, the title says it all. Thanks in advance! --Monte (talkcontribs) 18:21, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

Neos Wiseman =

I would really love to play a Neos Wiseman deck. I've seen one for sale on Ebay before and I wish I wrote down the cards in it because it looked really good. I don't know where to start with building a deck based around a card like this, which requires such weird cards to summon, so Decks for Free!, can you help me out? NecrofearNorleras (talkcontribs) 19:15, July 9, 2010 (UTC)

This looks relatively simple, so I can probably take this. Just remember that i’m extremely busy at the moment, and there’s a waiting line. I’ll get to you eventually.Akiza Izayoi (talkcontribs) 19:20, July 9, 2010 (UTC)
