Yuma Tsukumo	Name start with "Yu" (遊) like other protagonists. Tsukumo means "99". Kumo (蜘蛛) is played on the word "spider", referring to the tale "The Spider's Thread" by Ryunosuke Akutagawa about Shakyamuni tries to save a sinful man (Vector) from hell for not killing a single spider. Also ties to Kyoji Yagumo's name in the manga.
Kazuma Tsukumo
Mira Tsukumo/Mirai Tsukumo	Mirai means future. Together, her full name can be roughly translated as "ninety nine futures". Mira means peace, possibly refers to Utopia archetype.
Kari Tsukumo/Akai Tsukumo
Haru Tsukumo
Tori Meadows Kotori means "little bird". Tori is shortened form of Victoria and means "victory".
Rio Kastle/Rio Kamishiro/Marin/Merag	The kanji "ri" (璃) from Rio means Lapis Lazuli Kamishiro means "Age of the Gods". Rio is Spanish for "River". Kastle likely come from "Shiro" in Kami"shiro".

Yusaku Fujiki	Wisteria symbolizes humility, endurance, spontaneity, and mystery.
Cal Kolter/???
Aoi Zaizen/???	Aoi means "hollyhock", but is also homophone for "blue". Hollyhock symbolizes "majestic orientation" and "ambition".
Go Onizuka/???	Name refers to Gouki Archetype
Akira Zaizen/???	Akira has same reading as "dawn" and "light".
Emma Bessho/???	Bessho is almost homophone to Besshou (別称), meaning "pseudonym".
Revolver/???	A type of gun.
Dr. Genome/???	Name comes from "genome", the genetic material of an organism.
Baira (Kyoko Taki)/???	Name may comes from "Virus" or "Viral".
Faust/???	May be named after Johann Georg Faust, an itinerant alchemist, astrologer, and magician of the German Renaissance. Also may be named after the protagonist of a classic German legend who is a magician and alchemist who sells his soul to the devil in exchange for knowledge and power (who is based on Johann).
Kiyoshi Kogami	Kiyoshi means "saint".
Frog/Yamamoto & Pigeon	Self-explanatory
Roboppy	May come from "robot" and "poppy flower" Poppy flower symbolizes death, sleep, and peace.
