Ok, I wanted advise on how to make this deck better.--楽しい' 25px (talk to Fenix!) 22:52, January 15, 2011 (UTC)

You can start by not running a 50 card main deck. >.< Seriously, I'm getting tired of telling people that. *sighs* Ok, so I'll start with Spells and Traps. First off, Harpie's Hunting Ground is going to be god-awful. A 200 ATK boost is useless. Remove both, along with Field Barrier. Magical Mallet and Card Trader are also awful. Yes, you can change your hand if you want, but you lose the all-important card advantage. Both are automatic -1s, so you're really just helping your opponent out. Different Dimension Capsule is also terrible. Chances are pretty good that it won't survive long enough to add the card to your hand and you'll lose it permanently. Gold Sarcophagus is far superior, but I wouldn't recommend that either. Lightning Vortex is overkill at 2, one is fine. A Dark Hole would be a much better replacement for the second one. Raptor Wing Strike. Also terrible. Your losing field presence and card advantage. Why would you ever want that? Nightmare's Steelcage. You being unable to attack is really frustrating. Swords of Revealing Light is enough. Against the Wind is really not all that good. Dark Eruption works just as well on anything you would need back and doesn't make you take damage. Swallow's Nest: debatable. It isn't that bad, but there are better options. Judgment of Anubis. Just no. With Heavy banned, this isn't worth it. Ever. Sakuretsu Armor. There are far better options. Blackwing - Bombardment is pretty situational. Not all that good. Half or Nothing. Again, there are far better choices. Rising Energy. Always a -1. Never worth it. Fake Feather. Situational. Almost always a -1. Rarely worth it. Ebon Arrow. God-awful, just no. I'll be back later with more advice. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 00:20, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

Monster time: Fane and Breeze are both awful. Ghibli isn't much better. Elphin is debatable; most people don't like it. Personally I think it's mediocre at best. Same goes for Mistral. Run 1 at most. Unless that's all you have for the Extra Deck, I'd drop both RDAs and Red Nova, along with (maybe) Black-Winged Dragon and Ancient Fairy Dragon.

Okay, time to add new stuff. Let's see, I told you to remove a total of... 24 (leaving Elphin and 1 Mistral in). You started with 50, - 24 = 26. Add in the following: Dark Armed Dragon, Dark Hole, 2 Book of Moon, Dark Eruption, Cold Wave, Giant Trunade, 2 Mystical Space Typhoon, Monster Reborn, Mirror Force, Solemn Judgment, and 2 Icarus Attack. If you want explanations I'll give them. If you don't have and can't afford them, we'll find substitutes. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 00:49, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

Thanks for the advise I removed some of the cards you said but others I just cant because the point of the deck is to swarm and synchro summon (which is the point of the 10 synchros) and with the high tuner number my ace monster is red nova dragon. Look at my profile to see the updated deck.--楽しい' 25px (talk to Fenix!) 01:10, January 16, 2011 (UTC)
To be fair, a Blackwing deck's focus is to swarm and synchro, but it is just too difficult to summon RND. Your deck has too many -1's as well. You need to remove Fane + Elphin, Breeze should probably go as well. Mallet and Trader are more -1's, Raptor Wing Strike is pointless. There are better alternatives to against the wind, but there is rarely anything you need to get back. Swallows Nest is another -1. The Trap Line up is far too messy. The Trap Line Up you want is 2-3x Icarus Attack, Mirror Force, Torrential Tribute, Magic Cylinders if you want. Your deck also needs less situational cards, like Book of Moon, which is always useful, add 2-3 copies.

I'd suggest you don't ask for deck help if you're not willing to change the deck. IonCharge (talkcontribs) 16:49, January 16, 2011 (UTC)

I did change it, and I am going to take his advise on other cards when I get more copies of key cards (only have one mirror force, etc).....But I dont understand why your telling me to add non blackwings to the deck though, i was trying to keep the main deck stocked with blackwings to keep with the theme, and frankly I dont like Dark Armed Dragon or Dark Hole. --楽しい' 25px (talk to Fenix!) 02:16, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

Dark Hole is absolutely a must. Trust me on this. Dark Armed Dragon is iffy. He's an amazingly good card, but I personally don't think he's that good in Blackwings. That's the only non-BW I told you to add. Lappyzard (talkcontribs) 02:47, January 17, 2011 (UTC)

Im going to have to agree with lappylizard. You could check or to see some really good builds--bwinggale(talkcontribs) 05:49, January 17, 2011 (UTC)
