Looking at the burning Abyss Archtype and having faced a burn oriented version of the deck before that nearly lost due to deckout I had the idea to combine them with exodia. Supply Squad allows the abuse of their self destruct effects and I can put in cards to improve drawing. If Im not totally insane this is what I got so far

Hows it look? Deathwingincarnate (talkcontribs) 16:24, January 11, 2015 (UTC)

Are you using 3 "Dante, Traveler of the Burning Abyss", right? Since you're not using Traps you could try "Into the Void" to go for a FTK. --Missign0 (talkcontribs) 00:59, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

Ok into the void can be added, sorry was not thinking ahead too far on the extra deck, it should be the same as a normal agressive BA deck, Virgil, Dante, Leviathan Dragon, Number 17 and Number 30. Could also run fortune tune and mechquiped augineer, zenmaines for stall powers. Any other Main Deck comments or ideas? Deathwingincarnate (talkcontribs) 02:30, January 12, 2015 (UTC)

First of all, I think this is a pretty cool idea. I wouldn't recommend Into the Void, simply because this isn't meant to be an FTK deck, and you'd like to keep your hand. Emissary of the Afterlife is a bit too slow and reliant on your opponent for this deck, kinda unnecessary even, so I think both copies could be dropped. Also, with all the deck thinning going on, Mathematician is probably ok at 2, since you don't wanna see multiples too often, given that you'll usually want to use your Normal Summon on a TGU to thin 4-5 cards out of your deck with a Dante play. Cagna at 3 is a little excessive too for just dumping Good & Evil, although that is cool, but 2 should be plenty. To optimize this build, Foolish Burial is awesome here and 3 Veil of Darkness could speed the deck up like crazy, letting you get rid of dead-drawn Malebranches to dig for Tour Guide and the key spells while still triggering their effects. It can load the grave with Exodia pieces as well if you have a Dark Factory waiting to be used. 2-3 Solemn Advice to secure crucial plays may be worth testing as well, but I'm not sure what else to drop, except maybe 1 The Beginning of the End and only run 2 Veil. But seriously, Veil is nothing short of amazing here, try it. Hope this helps! Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 04:05, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

I can add 3 veil then. Good point about into the void, I guess I should cut that to 1 along with good and evil to 2. I really would prefer to keep cagna at 3 simply again to abuse supply squad, but it can also set up magical stone excavation plays on say dark factory of mass production. I hope this works, it's my first time actually making a deck idea.Deathwingincarnate (talkcontribs) 18:14, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Sounds good, I actually really like the application of Excavation here, which is usually only for OTK decks but has a lot of synergy with this build. The thing I think you may have overlooked about Cagna is that it can only send BA Spells/Traps to the grave, meaning only G&A in this deck, otherwise I'd say 3 copies for sure. Only other comment is that Void is kinda a 0 or 3 card because it's better to stack multiples in 1 turn, like Reckless Greed. Foolish Burial is better. Could you edit your decklist as you make changes, just so I and anyone else can see what you're working with now? Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 19:22, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

P.S. Just noticed this deck isn't 40 cards, but it really needs to be. This is Exodia, and you run Upstart Goblin. I would probably cut a Cir first and drop the Mathematicians. You still have 10 BA monsters and many ways to trigger them. Synchro Maniac10 (talkcontribs) 19:33, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Going with all the other changes so far and including the veils the deck is 44 cards. I can drop 2 reincarnations I think, dark eruption works the same here. I think I maybe could drop 1 beginning of the end to put the deck at 41 cards.Deathwingincarnate (talkcontribs) 20:50, January 19, 2015 (UTC)

Honestly, I'd probably just do 3 Eruption and 1 Reincarnation, you need the recursion cards. Go ahead and drop a TBotE, the Mathematicians, and a Cagna/Cir. Now you're at 40 and try that. If you use Upstart, you must be at 40 because all it does is let you basically run 1 less card in your deck for each copy, effectively making a 37 card deck.
