After looking a bit more into frog decks, I decided I might try to build one again. I decide to go with something I felt was more of a frog deck then wetlands version. I came across a newer Des Frog OTK and decided that was a nice start for the deck. The deck is themed around Aqua monsters for Solidarity.

Some cards I am already considering are Aqua Spirit, Beezle Frog, Poison Draw Frog, and Salvage, just don't have room ATM. Also, I'm guessing that the second treeborn isn't needed, along with the Moray of Greed (probably). Besides that, I am unsure of what to change. Bio 15:21, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

I don't see how you'll be able to do much damage with this deck... You need 1 for 1 to use the substitoad faster, and the Old School Des Frog Method is much harder to pull off than it looks. And even though treeborn is hella good he's not good in a traditional frog build, because frogs are meant to go with Wetlands. I think your point is to tribute your treeborn for Des but this still doesn't look quite effective considering you have to dump at least 2 T.A.D.'s to summon three Des frogs. Running salvage over Moray is much better because its more consistent and that way you can dump what you need with Swap and just salvage it back to your hand. Book is also a good card but unneccessary in frogs because they have better defenses. Consider a more regular frog build to increase consistency and allow for quicker Croaking OTK (with Dupe and Ronin) rather than the old school way. That's just my opinion; if you want to continue this build then comment back and I'll try to help with it rather than divert you to another build. Hope this helps! :) U5h3ra1i 16:21, June 7, 2010 (UTC)

Take out the one ronintoadin and one tadpole since your goin to use swap frog to dump tadpole and ronintoadin and possibly put the salvages in instead of them

I never liked wetland frogs much. Fields are too easy to destroy and I'd rather have high defense monsters to fall back on then weak direct attackers or tramplers =P It isn't really about the OTK as much as the frogs in general. I really just want a Aqua Typed beatdown with a lot of frogs, that is why Mobius is in there =P Aqua Spirit will also help a lot if I make the room. Solidarity is one of the key power cards and key to the true OTK of the deck. It is kinda meant to mimic Frog Monarchs in some way, but without running all the monarchs (since I got a monarch deck). Also, Book of Moon is just standard defense in all my decks now. Well, now I know what cards need to be cut and what should be added. I total forgot about One for One (never had many decks that could use it). Now the real question is Aqua Spirit, Abyss Solider, or Beezle Frog as my additional beatdown? -For me, Mobius and T.A.D.P.O.L.E. is not needed. Mobius because he's not a frog, and T.A.D.P.O.L.E. because you already have Ronintoadin. Also Book of Moon for me is not needed, and I think One for One is good. And try 2 copies of Unifrog and Flip Flop Frog.

i wouldnt bother with flip flop frog since its effect goes off after damage calc and you would have to run waboku or ageis to help keep it alive. you might want to run fishbog blaster to help with synchro's since it can be dumped with swap's first effect to special summon it.

Mobius could be cut back, but he is just a Beatstick really. Helps clear S/T and nice attack. Remember, it is an Aqua Frog Deck, and Mobius is Aqua and Frogs make easy tributes. T.A.D.P.O.L.E. is a decent discard since he is better in grave and helps with getting 3 Des Frog, which are my main beatstick. I don't need them, but I think they should be tired at least =P Book of moon is just a general useful card. For example, opponent has only Vanity's Fiend and I have no field. I got Swap Frog, Mobius, and Treeborn Frog, and Book of moon in hand, but can't special summon. Book of Moon the field, special Swap Frog, tribute for Mobius, kill the fiend. Also stops synchros and holds off attacks, so it is just a general good card to use. One for One will be in revised build. Flip Flop I did consider, but he just doesn't seem to fit theme well. Unifrog a bit too weak out of wetlands frogs. Also, while Fishborg does fit deck very well, it is an Aqua Deck and he is a fish, so it would throw of Solidarity (key card). So, this still brings me back to my old question: Aqua Spirit, Abyss Solider, or Beezle Frog for additional Beatdown? Aqua spirit is great, but removes cards. Abyss is good, but need to discard (kills synchros though). Beezle is unlikely since I am only using 2 Tads in revised build. Bio 17:34, June 8, 2010 (UTC)
