Fiend (悪 (あく) 魔 (ま) Akuma "Demon") is a monster Type symbolizing darkness, wickedness, perniciousness, and diabolical horror. They are often demons, devils or ghosts, and are almost exclusively DARK-Attribute.

Fiends are one of the most established and powerful Types in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise. The majority of Fiends focus on offensive beatdown tactics and destroying the opponent's cards, as well as pressuring the opponent by cornering them with stun and lockdown effects, banishing effects, or deck milling.

Fiends are most notably used by PaniK, Yami Bakura, Yami Marik, Declan Akaba, Sora Perse, Akira Zaizen and Roa Kirishima. Some of both Yami Yugi, Yugi Muto and Jack Atlas's most well known monsters are Fiends, and Sylvio Sawatari's final deck is made up of Fiends. Otherwise, Fiends are generally cards used by minor antagonistic characters in the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.

Fiend-Type monsters have their own Structure Deck; Structure Deck: Devil's Gate/Gates of the Underworld Structure Deck , which focused on "Dark World" monsters, and Structure Deck: Pendulum Domination, which focused on "D/D" monsters.
