The Field Searchers are a series of monsters which have the ability to search out for a certain Field Spell Card for their archetype, Attribute or Type. They are all Level 4 Monsters that allow you to discard them to add their corresponding Field Spell Card to your hand from your deck. While the ATK of the series' members ranges from 1600 to 2100, all of them are designed to produce a Normal Summonable monster with 2100 ATK when played together with their respective Field Spell (they are either destroyed without the Field card in play– for those members whose ATK is already 2100– or gain an ATK boost while their Field Spell is on the field that brings their ATK to 2100). They were all introduced in Force of the Breaker and, with the exception of "Elemental HERO Captain Gold", were all Rares ("Captain Gold" being Ultra Rare in Force of the Breaker, but having since been reprinted as Rare).

Note that "Neo Space Pathfinder" is a Field Searcher, but differs from the others that it remains at 1800 ATK regardless of the Field Spell Card being or not on the field. It also can return "Neo Space" from the Graveyard, and was released outside of Force of the Breaker.

While their effects are little more than specialized versions of "Terraforming", they are all monster cards, so they can provide some sort of protection should you run out of Field Cards ("Terraforming", in such a case, would be a dead draw). In addition, all of these cards have outstanding ATK when their field card is on the field, making them great beatsticks (this is even more true for "Harpie Queen", "Warrior of Atlantis", and "Gravekeeper's Commandant", as the former two already have 1900 ATK, while the latter has the highest original ATK of any non-tribute "Gravekeeper's" monster). Finally, given practically no deck is ever built relying on more than a single Field Spell card, their specialization drawback is nearly non-existent.

Other Field Searching-related monsters include:

* "Planet Pathfinder" - Searches out any Field Spell from your deck, but must be Tributed.

* "Immortal Ruler" - Returns "Zombie World" from your Graveyard to your hand, but must be Tributed.

* "Minefieldriller" - Designed to work with "Geartown". Returns any Field Spell from your Graveyard to your hand when it is removed from the field.

The Field Searchers are a series of usually Level 4 monsters that have the ability to search a certain Field Spell Card for their archetype, series, or Type.

They all can discard themselves to add their corresponding Field Spell Card from the player's Deck to their hand (except for "Necroworld Banshee", "Salamangreat Balelynx", "Garden Rose Maiden", "Striker Dragon", "Armatos Legio Gradius" and "Pikari @Ignister"). Field Searchers with an original ATK of 2100 have an additional effect that destroy themselves if their corresponding Field Spell Card is not active.

They were all released in Force of the Breaker (except "Neo Space Pathfinder", "Necroworld Banshee", "Garden Rose Maiden" and "Glife the Phantom Bird" which were released in different Sets; while "Armatos Legio Gradius" and "Pikari @Ignister" have the condition only in their anime effect).
