"Evil★Twin" is an archetype of Fiend monsters that debuted in "Deck Build Pack: Genesis Impactors".

The archetype is strongly linked to the "Ki-sikil" and "Lil-la" archetypes that support it. Also, it is loosely linked to Chaos, due to the LIGHT and DARK monster theme.

This archetype is based on the concept of evil twin wireless networks: A Wi-Fi access point that appears to be legitimate, but is set up to spy on network communications. Moreover, it is based on phishing, to lure people into giving their private data.

Appearance[]

While the younger-looking "Live☆Twin"s appear as internet influencers, they are actually the virtual avatars of the more mature "Evil★Twin"s, who are luxurious thieves.

Etymology[]

While the related series' name is "Live☆Twin", this archetype's name is inverted as "Evil★Twin".

Kisikil-lilla is a Sumerian variant transcription of Hebrew feminine name Lilith of Assyrian origin, derived from lilitu meaning "of the night, belonging to the night".

Playing style[]

The archetype revolves around the quick summoning of "Ki-sikil" and "Lil-la" to support one another with nasty effects, before the ace - "Evil★Twins Ki-sikil & Lil-la" - is properly summoned. In fact, "Live☆Twin" monsters are summoned to bait the opponent to act, so the player, on their next turn, can use "Evil★Twin" cards to deplete them of resources, so they don't have anything to activate in response to card effects or attacks.
