An ‘Errata’ is a correction to the text on a card, or in rare instances, characteristics such as ATK or Attribute. If a card has errata, you should always play the card as if it had the corrected text, even though your actual card's text might be older. Errata make cards easier to understand. You should always use the most recent printing of a card, because that text is the most accurate.[1]

There are many reasons why cards have errata:

  • Correcting misspellings.
