Duel Terminal 7 was released in two parts: Duel Terminal 7a is the first part, being made up of the OCG set Duel Terminal - Sacred Star Knights!! and was released September 28, 2012; Duel Terminal 7b is the second part, being made up of the OCG set Duel Terminal - Ouroboros, Wicked Dragon of Destruction!! and was released February 1, 2013.

The set includes 100 cards, all of which are Parallel Rare. 30 of the cards are new, while 20 are reprints. It also includes further support for known archetypes: "Gem-Knight", "Laval", "Gusto", and "Gishki". Introduces the "Constellar" and "lswarm" archetypes. Introduces Aporia, Slifer Red Blair Flannigan and Kite Tenjo as duelable opponents.
