The Duel Machine (決闘マシーン) is a robot in the Yu-Gi-Oh! manga. This is the original incarnation of the Duel Computer. The Duel Machine was used by Seto Kaiba to practice Dueling.

The Duel Machine is set up at Kaiba Corporation headquarters in their Research & Development's Collectible Card Games division.[1]
After acquiring the card "The God of the Obelisk", from Ishizu Ishtar, Seto Kaiba arranged a Duel with the Duel Machine to test both the "Obelisk" card and his new Duel Disk model. He put his Deck from the Duelist Kingdom tournament into the Duel Computer, which then had its tactics level set to max.[1]
The Duel Machine quickly Summoned all three copies of "Blue-Eyes White Dragon", which it protected using "Lord of D.". However Kaiba Summoned "The God of the Obelisk", which proceeded to sacrifice Kaiba's two other monsters, rapidly raising its own ATK. Kaiba easily destroyed all three dragons with "Obelisk", winning the Duel. The attack also damaged the machine and caused the main computer to go haywire, unable to compute the power levels.[1]
