"Dante" (ダンテ) is an archetype of LIGHT monsters with 2500 DEF who represent Dante Alighieri. This archetype is associated with the "Burning Abyss" archetype. It was first introduced in the TCG version of Duelist Alliance, but received its first support with the release of "Beatrice, Lady of the Eternal".
In the French, Italian, Portuguese and Spanish versions, the archetype name contains a comma (e.g. French "Dante,"), because "dante" occurs very frequently in adjectives.
