Seventh RUM Card[]

Not sure why is there the edit war about it being the seventh Rank-Up card. Aren't there three patterns:

  • First being the corresponding members of Seven Barian Emperors,
  • The second being the seventh Rank-Up Magic card.

Any thoughts why? Energy X 20:40, October 15, 2013 (UTC)

Probably because it isn't the seventh "Rank-Up-Magic" card. It's the sixth. Simple Guillotine (talkcontribs) 20:55, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
What about Rank-Up Spider Web? Energy X 21:19, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
While its true that The Seventh One isnt the seventh RUM card in the anime, and I am not going to count Rank-Up Spider Web due to the fact that it wasnt used for summoning Chaos Exceeds or Chaos Numbers, there is Chaos Field which was used for summoning Chaos Numbers in the anime. Either way, there is no reason for there to be an edit war because there are not seven Rank-Up-Magic spells in the anime. - Axel Shiokawa (talkcontribs) 21:25, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
It is the seventh if you count Numerons fall, or it could mean that there are 7 total, and the "6th" hasn't been revealed yet (coughdonthousandprobablyhasitcough). or it oculd be refering to the 7th something else. that said, its name is stupid, "Sword of the seven emperors" that the kanji translates to would have been way better.DreadKaiser (talkcontribs) 21:51, October 15, 2013 (UTC)
No its not. Numeron Fall is a Rank-Down-Magic. Rank-Down-Magic is not the same as Rank-Up-Magic. The statement at this time still stands. There are only 6 RUM cards and 7 only if you count Chaos Field among them. - Axel Shiokawa (talkcontribs) 02:53, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
If you count non-rank up ranking cards, you would have to include Ascension Spiral - Jet-Black Nova (talkcontribs) 03:20, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
I think people here won't recognize Ascension Spiral as a Rank-Up card mainly because its summon is not treated as an Xyz summon at all. Even though its text is very similar to a Rank-Up card... I consider it a Rank-Up card nonetheless :-D - Yano88 (talkcontribs) 05:31, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
Most definitely would not accept Ascension Spiral as a Rank-Up card just on the grounds the monster is not properly summoned. To go farther, I dont see it being accepted just because its not part of the Rank-Up-Magic archetype under the definition used by the Wikia. - Axel Shiokawa (talkcontribs) 06:46, October 16, 2013 (UTC)
Alright, restarting this to prevent pointless edit wars. I'm gonna try to reason with you guys. This is the 7th card that can Rank-Up in the anime. Why would this be a coincidence? This is just Number 74 all over again. There is no way of proving it, but no way of disproving it either. I'm proposing a vote to decide. Dennis Phantom (talkcontribs) 16:02, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
Yeah, a vote might work…but I will just say this now. Pretty sure the Seventh One refers to the seventh Emperor. Besides, the Seventh One most likely existed before Argent Chaos Force was created (of course, this has not been proven). NMBRHNTR64 (talkcontribs) 16:08, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
Right, The Seventh One was most likely created on the spot, Nasch jsut gave the others the ability to Chaos Draw. Anyway, should we begin the vote? Dennis Phantom (talkcontribs) 16:11, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
If you are going to put the trivia down, just put it as "coincidentally, this card is the seventh..." etc. There is no solid reasoning to believe that is the reason for the card's name. However, there is solid reasoning for it being related to the seven stars in the card's artwork (and thus, the 7 Barian Emperors). --UltimateKuriboh (talkcontribs) 23:22, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
Cant argue with UK on this one. It may not be the seventh Rank-Up-Magic card, but it is the seventh card that Rank-Ups (Debuted not necessarily chronological) into Chaos Exceeds. - Axel Shiokawa (talkcontribs) 23:37, October 30, 2013 (UTC)
