• This card is named after Erda, Goddess of the Earth and mother of the three Norns in Die Walküre by Richard Wagner. By Wotan/ Odin, she is also the mother of Brunhilde.
  • The anime-only card “Goddess Erda's Guidance”, which was also used by Zigfried von Schroeder, is based on her as well.
