- Manga Ryu-Ran is the monster on the front of this book, while Toon Mermaid is on the back cover.
- Athough tombstone crosses are usually edited out, like in Call of the Haunted , for some reason those featured in this card were not.
- In the first Japanese edition of this card and a few video games, such as Yu-Gi-Oh! The Eternal Duelist Soul, you must pay 500 Life points to keep Toon World in play. Also if Toon World is destroyed, for each toon monster on the field that gets destroyed, you gain 500 Life points for each one. This was most likely edited in newer versions due to complicating calculations.

- The Pegasus Structure Deck artwork of this card was featured on the Field Spell Card "Toon World".
- The other artwork used in all other sets in the OCG and all sets in the TCG -including this article- was featured on the Equip Spell Card "Fiend Castle".
- "Toon World" has an Anime-Only counterpart, "Toon Kingdom".
- Toon World's appearance involving a castle popping out of a book might have been inspired from a children's pop-up book. This was also suggested in the Anime.
- In the anime, there is only one copy of this card, the one Pegasus uses. According to the anime, it was deemed too powerful to release for the general public.
- According to Pegasus, the page the Toon World book is open to is called "Evil Castle", and is the lair of Toon Summoned Skull.
