- In the Japanese version of the anime, this part of the card's name, "MA" stands for its type: Machine.
- In every "Tech Genus" Synchro Monster in the Japanese version of the anime, the letter "X" is present in their card name but this card has two "X"s as it is an Accel Synchro Monster.
- This card's effect is similar to that of "Strike Ninja" and the Trap Cards "Interdimensional Matter Transporter and Fortune Slip".
- This card's first effect is similar to that of "Gladiator Beast Heraklinos or Arcana Knight Joker".
- "Tech Genus Blade Blaster" was the first Accel Synchro Monster to appear in the anime and was the first monster that requires two Synchro monsters (1 Tuner Synchro and 1 or more non-tuner synchro) to Synchro Summon it. Although, Shooting Star Dragon was the first Accel Synchro Monster released in the OCG and TCG.
- Thus far, this is the only "Tech Genus" monster whose Anime effect would not contain the phrase, "This card is also treated as a Machine-Type monster", due to the fact that it is a Machine-Type already.
- It is possible to use the same Synchro Material Monsters as "Shooting Star Dragon" to Synchro Summon this card. ("Stardust Dragon" + "Formula Synchron")
- This is the first of the Cosmic Synchro Monsters that can counter the Machine Emperors absorbing effects by its own effects in the OCG.
- This card, along with Shooting Star Dragon, the only two true Accel Synchro Monsters (With Tech Genus Halberd Cannon being a Delta Accel Synchro monster) share a common ATK of 3300.
