- Supay is the God of the Underworld in the Inca Mythology. During the Spanish Viceroyalty, "Supay" was the name used by the priests to refer to the Christian Devil.
- This card resembles the mask used in the Diablada, an allegoric dance in the Andean countries, that represents the fight between Demons and Angels, in which Supay was the main Demon.
- This card is the only initial member of the "Inca" series not to be used by "Rex Goodwin" in the Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's anime.
- The monster appears as a staff in the artwork of Supay, Duskwalker.
