  • This card is named after ant and Sarracenia, a genus of 8 to 11 species of North American pitcher plants.
    • Its mechanism to trap the prey is similar with Nepenthes. The difference is that the leaves of Sarracenia have evolved into a funnel or pitcher shape in order to trap insects, while Nepenthes produced the pitcher from the end of its leaves.
  • This monster appears in the artwork of "Predaplanet" and "Predaplast".
  • This card's artwork depicts the fusion between the predator and its prey. In this case, Sarracenia as the predator, and ant as its prey.
