- The "V" in this card's name probably refers to the fact that this is a Barian version of "Utopia" (which is spelled "Varian" in Japanese) - "Utopia Ray Varian".
- It could also refer to the roman numeral "V" being 5, this card's Rank.
- It could also foreshadow the idea that Yuma replaces this card with "Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory", the "V" standing for "Victory".
- One of this card's effects is similar to that of "Number 61: Volcasaurus" and "Number C105: Battlin' Boxer Comet Cestus".
- All three are Rank 5 monsters; however, this is the only one that is not FIRE.
- This card's appearance looks very similar to Kamen Rider Agito's Burning Form, as they both have a similar weapon and "evil"-looking image.
