  • The "V" in this card's name probably refers to the fact that this is a Barian version of "Utopia" (which is spelled "Varian" in Japanese) - "Utopia Ray Varian".
    • It could also refer to the roman numeral "V" being 5, this card's Rank.
    • It could also foreshadow the idea that Yuma replaces this card with "Number C39: Utopia Ray Victory", the "V" standing for "Victory".
  • This card's appearance looks very similar to Kamen Rider Agito's Burning Form, as they both have the same weapon and "evil"-looking image.
  • This is the first Ranked-Up "Number C" that is not part of the "Number 10X" archetype.
  • When "Utopia Ray V's" number appeared on its body during its Summon scenes, it had an orange color, despite both the card and the number that appeared on the screen previously being red. This was likely an animation error.
