Card Trivia:Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis

• This is the fifth "Number" card that is also a member of an existing archetype. The first is "Number 12: Crimson Shadow Armor Ninja", who belongs to the "Ninja" archetype. The second is "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder", who belongs to the "Puppet"/"Gimmick Puppet" archetypes. The third is "Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech", who belongs to the "Chronomaly" archetype. The fourth is "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings", also of the "Puppet"/"Gimmick Puppet" archetypes.

• This card's number may come from it being the third "Number" used by Trey, adding the three and three together to get six.
  • In addition, it could also come from being the second "Number" which Trey currently owns which results in (3 x 2 = 6).
  • It could also match its Rank, which is 6 (or vice versa).
    • This trait is shared with "Number 7: Lucky Stripe" and "Number 9: Dyson Sphere".
  • It can also epitomize this card being the sixth “Number” monster Summoned by the Vetrix Family during a Duel that Trey was enrolled in; the other five monsters that preceded this card (denoted in italics) were:
    • 1. “Number 32: Shark Drake” (Trey vs. Shark)
    • 2-4. “Machu Mech”, “Giant Grinder” and “Heaven’s String” (Trey and Quattro vs. Yuma Tsukumo and Kite Tenjo

• "6" can be read as "Roku" in Japanese, which is also the Japanese pronunciation of "rock".

• Coincidentally enough, "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" was released in VJUMP as the 69th Promo.
  • 69 can be seen as 2 inverse 6's.

• This card's OCG name may be derived from Atlantis; just as the name of "Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech" is derived from Machu Pichu.
  • If one looks at the artwork, the island is not actually floating: Molten formed what appears to be two legs holding it up, as well as two arms, giving it the appearance of a giant. As such, this card may have been based on Atlas, a Titan from Greek mythology that was forced to support the sky on his shoulders for eternity.

• This card is the second Chronomaly "Number" monster.
  • The first being "Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech".

• This card is the second single-digit "Number".
  • First being "Number 7: Lucky Straight".

• This is the second of four Number monsters whose Number appears twice in its artwork with the first "Number" monster being "Number 15: Gimmick Puppet Giant Grinder", the third "Number" monster being "Number 40: Gimmick Puppet of Strings", and the fourth "Number" monster being "Number 106: Huge Rock Palm, Giant Hand".

• This monster is tied with "Number 30: Acid Golem of Destruction" as the highest DEF "Number".

• This card is the second Support for the "Number" Archetype with the first being "Number Wall" and both are used by Trey.
  • This however is the first "Number" Support card to be released into the OCG/TCG.

• This card is the fourth monster card to have the effect of halving your opponent's Life Points. The previous three were "Destiny HERO - Dogma", "Earthbound Immortal Cusillu" and "Michion, the Timelord".
  • The other monsters are at least 8 level or higher, while this is a Rank 6.

• This card's effect is similar to the "Inzektor" Xyz Monsters "Exa-Beetle" and "Exa-Stag".

• This card's form could come from the Ancient city of Pompeii because it's shaped like a volcano (Mount Vesuvius).

• This card's number is located on the ring on its chest.

• This card is the first Number since "Number 34: Terror-Byte" to have a pink Number.
  • These two cards now hold the record for the longest gap between two Numbers of the same color to appear episodically: a gap of 16 Numbers, breaking the record once held by "Number 39: Utopia" and "Number 7: Lucky Straight".
  • Oddly, this card's Number was printed as purple in the anime (though it still appeared pink on the monster).

• Oddly this cards attribute is LIGHT when the Monster is formed out of molten lava and rock, and its Type is Machine while it has no mechanical parts with the exception of the ring around its chest.

• If you look closely at the volcano on this number's head, it looks like it has eyes and a mouth.

• When an overlay unit is used it is absorbed through the Number's right hand, turning it to molten rock and then punching its opponent.

• When "Number 6: Chronomaly Atlandis" is summoned and released to its full form, the selected Number Monster then appears near it and is then absorbed by "Atlandis" through its stomach and turned into a miniature version of itself.
  • "Number 33: Chronomaly Machu Mech" appears in the artwork of this card, attached to "Atlandis'" waist. "Machu Mech" was the Number that Trey equipped to "Atlandis" in his second duel against Yuma.

• This Number's sealed form resembles a volcano.
  • This Number's sealed form could also be viewed as a Greek "box" (which looks more like a jar), more closely supporting the fact that the Numbers are a reference to the legend of Pandora's Box.

• This monster's legs resemble the molten bodies of some of the Laval monsters.
