  • The appearance and numerical value of this card, 42, could be a reference to the space-oriented sci-fi novel The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, where 42 is the Answer to the Ultimate Question of Life, the Universe, and Everything.
    • The number can also be related to its own effect. It can Special Summon up to four tokens (hence the 4) and can use this effect two times due to having two Xyz Materials (hence the 2).
  • Its overall appearance looks like a giant stingray, as it has a similar shape and features a stingray-like tail.
  • This monster has quite a few similarities with "Number 9: Dyson Sphere": they are both "Number" monsters, both have 3000 DEF, both are space-related megastructures, and both are considerably large in size.
    • Also, for their respective debuts, both monsters were Summoned in a way that involved combining the Levels of their Xyz Materials.
    • Both cards also have Trap Cards specifically designed to work with them, both with negation effects. "Dyson Sphere" has "Space Gate" which negates the activation of Trap Cards and destroys them, while Starship Galaxy Tomahawk" has "Tomahawk Cannon" which negates attacks from monsters and destroys them.
  • This is the first Xyz Monster that can Summon Tokens.
  • This is the first WIND-attribute "Number".
