This is the 1st Synchro Monster to support Pendulum Monsters.
- Additionally, this is also the 1st Wyrm-Type Synchro Monster not to be part of the "Yang Zing" archetype.
  - However, this monster likely bears some relation to the "Yang Zing" as the "Yang Zing" emblem (two overlapping triangles with a jewel in the center) can be seen on its pelvis-section.

All three of this cards effects are related to all three original "Horus" monsters effects.
- Its Normal Monster requirement reflects "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV6" in being unaffected by card effects since "Horus LV6" is unaffected by Spell Cards.
- Its Effect Monster requirement reflects "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8" by negating the effect of another face-up card since "Horus LV8" can negate any Spell Card.
- Its Pendulum Monster requirement reflects "Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV4" by taking control of another monster since the control of "Horus LV4" cannot be switched.
