  • This is the second strongest Level 1 monster in terms of original ATK, the first being "Meklord Emperor Wisel".
  • This card is the only one of the three "Meklord Emperor" monsters not to be on the field at the same time as Yusei's "Shooting Star Dragon". This is because Yusei never Dueled Lester.
    • Moreover, neither "Meklord Emperor Wisel" nor "Meklord Emperor Skiel" (i.e., the central body part) were destroyed by Yusei's "Shooting Star Dragon" in the anime, but at least one of their components were.
      • Also, this is the only "Meklord Emperor" that did not have an attack name.
  • Although this card was the second "Meklord" monster to appear in the anime, it was the last to have its effect revealed in the OCG/TCG.
  • The fact that "Skiel" is the smallest in overall size and the thinnest compared to "Wisel" and "Granel" may be a rudimentary representation of Lester as being the smallest member of the Three Emperors of Yliaster.
  • This card, when Summoned in the anime, was the only "Meklord" monster that did not have a part of its body that glowed red when it was Summoned (even though before this card was used by Lester, "Skiel" as a whole originally glowed with a red hue). All of the other "Meklord" monsters except for "Meklord Emperor Granel" have a "screen" (their "mouth" area) with a red design on it that manifested upon their Summoning.
  • This is the only "Meklord Emperor" to be released in a TCG set instead of as a promo card, thus being the only of the "Meklord Emperor" monsters whose text doesn't comply to the Problem-Solving Card Text.
