- In the earlier episodes of the original series this card's name was "Harpie's Lady"
- "Harpie Lady" appears in the artwork of "Summoning Clock" and "Elegant Egotist".
- "Harpie Lady's" wings seems to always change color:
- "Cyber Harpie Lady" -> Green wings.
- "Harpie Lady" -> Blue wings.
- "Harpie Lady Sisters" -> Purple wings & Green wings.
- "Harpie Lady 1" -> Green wings.
- "Harpie Lady 2" -> Green wings.
- "Harpie Lady 3" -> Green wings.
- "Harpie Dancer" -> White wings.
- "Harpie Channeler" -> Black wings.
- "Harpie Queen" -> White wings.
- "Harpie Girl" -> Pink wings.
- Despite the name, "Harpie Lady" much more closely resembles the Furies than it does harpies:
- Harpies are depicted as monstrous birds with human heads, while Furies are depicted as women with wings and claws. In addition, in mythology there existed a great many harpies but only three Furies, which are sisters (reflected by the limitation of only 3 of the "Harpie Lady" cards to a deck at a time.
- However, this depiction is historically inaccurate; in the original mythology, harpies were depicted simply as women with wings. Their frequent portrayal as monstrous bird-women was due to a confusion between harpies and the Sirens.
- The Furies were depicted as using whips and flails as weapons, similar to the Harpies' "Electro-Whip" and "Rose Whip" equip spells.

- For unknown reasons, unlike the original Yu-Gi-Oh! series, in Yu-Gi-Oh! GX "Harpie Lady" appears to be censored even in the Japanese Version.
- This card is one of two Harpie cards to slip past censorship for its first release in the TCG, the other being "Harpie Girl".
