- This is the second strongest Normal Monster.
- "Gigobyte" > "Gagagigo" > "Giga Gagagigo" > Gogiga Gagagigo > "Awakened Brave Warrior - Gagagigo".
- "Gogiga Gagagigo" is the second-to-last form of the Gagagigo series of Monsters, a High-level monster possessing the highest ATK and DEF of the series.
- "Gogiga Gagagigo" has been driven mad by his "cybernetic enhancements" given to him by "Kozaky". It is unknown if, and unlikely that, he continued to fight against "Invader of Darkness". After attaining this form, he once again fights Freed the Matchless General for revenge, but is "stopped" by his savior, "Marauding Captain", and has his soul purified by his actions, becoming the "Awakened Brave Warrior - Gagagigo".
- Ironically, this is the first form of the Gagagigo series that is stronger than "Invader of Darkness", beating him by 50 points in ATK.
- "Gogiga Gagagigo" is featured in the artwork of "Memory of a Friend".
- "Gogiga Gagagigo" is the strongest Reptile-Type normal monster in the game.
- "Gogiga Gagagigo" is tied with "Rabidragon" for the second strongest normal card in the game, the first being "Blue-Eyes White Dragon".
- He also has the third highest DEF for a Normal Monster, 100 shy of "Spiral Serpent" and "Rabid Dragon", and just 200 shy of "Millennium Shield", "Labyrinth Wall", and "Neo Aqua Madoor".
- "Gogiga Gagagigo's" Japanese name is a palindrome.
- In the game Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2008, this monster realized that it had lost everything because of its lust for power, and after finding this out it redeemed itself by stopping its quest for more power, wich explains why his heroic version, "Awakened Brave Warrior - Gagagigo", has the same ATK and DEF as this card.
- Every other letter in this card's English name is "G", for a total of 7 "G"s.
- The Dark Revelation Volume 2 version of this card has a different font than most Normal Monsters have.
