- "Flint Lock" and "Flint" are based on the 1991 Konami Shooter "Xexex". In the game, the space ship Flint Lock used Flint as it's primary weapon.
- An interesting point about this card : "Flint Lock" is released far after "Flint" was released. "Flint" was released on Rise of Destiny, while "Flint Lock" is released on Tactical Evolution.
- The three "arms" at "Flint Lock"'s rear resemble "Flint"'s shape; this is also probably where "Flint" equips itself to "Flint Lock."
- This card appears on the artwork of "Flint Missile".
