This monster is the cover card of Code of the Duelist.
- It is the first monster cover card not to appear in the anime before the succeeding Booster Pack's cover card monster.

This monster is the signature card of Yusaku Fujiki during the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.
- It shares the same ATK of 2500 as of the other signature cards: "Dark Magician", "Elemental HERO Neos", "Stardust Dragon", "Number 39: Utopia" and "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon". These monsters are respectively the signature cards of Yugi Muto, Jaden Yuki, Yusei Fudo, Yuma Tsukumo and Yuya Sakaki, the previous main protagonists from the first five series of the anime
- As a Link Monster, it is the first signature card of a main protagonist to not possess either a Level/Rank or a DEF.
- This is the first signature card of a main protagonist to be on the Forbidden/Limited Lists; it is currently Forbidden in both the OCG and the TCG.
  - It is also the first Link Monster, as well as the first Cyberse monster, to be on the Lists.

This monster's attack name, "Tempest Attack", is likely named after Transient Electromagnetic Pulse Emanation Standard (TEMPEST) Attacks, which work on the principle of intercepting electromagnetic radiation emissions from electronic devices such as monitors, hard disk and PC memory from a remote location, and allow the replay of the information captured.

This card is the only "Firewall" monster whose Attribute is not DARK.
