- The woman depicted in this card's artwork is holding two "Wicked-Breaking Flamberge - Baous", one gold and one silver.
- This card's artwork is based on the Japanese legend about a spirit who inhabited lakes and waterfalls. If an item is dropped into her pond by a traveler, she will offer the item back, asking if the dropped item was made of gold or silver. If the traveler is honest, she will reward them with all three items, but if the traveler lies, she will take the item and retreat to the lake, or in some versions, kill the traveler.
- This card could also be based on the myth of 'King Arthur', in which a water spirit (the 'Lady of the Lake') gives him 'Excalibur'.
