* This card is named after the Mythological Greek Angel of Death and Mortality,Thanatos-According to the myth,he resides in the Underworld Palace of Hades (God of the Underworld) with his brother Hypnos, the Angel of slumber and dreams.

* This card is probably named after the Greek word "θάνατος", which stands for "death". Probably some designer's idea to make the card look and sound badass, cool, edgy, whatever. Although it's arguable whether most people will get the pun or not; I mean, Greeks and heavy-metal fans aside, who knows that word?

  • This card is probably named after the Greek word "θάνατος", which stands for "death". Probably some designer's idea to make the card look and sound badass, cool, edgy, whatever. Although it's arguable whether most people will get the pun or not; I mean, Greeks and heavy-metal fans aside, who knows that word?
  • This is the "Evilswarm" counterpart of "The Fabled Unicore" mounted with "Fabled Ragin"
    • This card has 50 more ATK than both "Unicore" and "Ragin" and 50 less DEF than the average of the DEF of "Unicore" and "Ragin".
    • "Fableds" (魔轟) basically have the name "god" ( shīn), which is probably why it's named after a Greek god. (Not a god though, minor figure in Greek mythology.)
    • This card also depicts Gludd, Gree and Malice. The imp like creatures displayed on "The Fabled Unicore" and "Fabled Ragin"
  • This card could be the complete opposite to "Constellar Omega"
    • They both have Quick Effects to be unaffected by the effects of other cards by their card type.
    • They both have a similar theme, a horse and a rider.
      • Except, Constellar Omega is a centaur, a mixture of both.
    • They both need Attributes to Xyz Summon
    • They both have relatively close ATKs.
    • Their positions mirror each other.
