- The word "Dokuro" is Japanese for "skull". Its OCG name is "Skull Rider", a possible homage to "Skullman" from Shotaro Ishinomori, responsible for the Kamen Rider and Super Sentai series. It could also be an homage to the Marvel anti-hero Ghost-Rider.
