- "Reficule" is a romanization of "Lucifer" written backwards. Lucifer is a name for the Morning Star and the fallen angel. In later times, Lucifer became another name for the Devil.
- The "Nurse" in this card's name is a reference to this card's owner, Fonda Fontaine in the Yu-Gi-Oh! GX anime, who worked as the nurse for Duel Academy. This card's full original name, "Nurse Reficule the Fallen One" and effect is a reference to how Fonda Fontaine was transformed into a Duel Ghoul who focused on harming Jaden Yuki instead of healing him.
- "Darklord Morningstar" is another member of the archetype based on the same figure.
- This card's effect is the same as that of "Bad Reaction to Simochi".
- This card’s OCG name meant that it was technically a member of the “Darklord” archetype before it actually existed. It would be a whole year before an actual member (“Darklord Zerato”) would be introduced, followed by several more 2 years afterwards (“Darklord Superbia”, “Darklord Edeh Arae” and “Darklord Asmodeus”).
- The card’s name was errata’d when reprinted in Destiny Soldiers to further clarify this. Before that, it was known as "Nurse Reficule the Fallen One" in the TCG and anime.
