- This monster is the cover card of Soul Fusion.
- This monster is the signature card of Yusaku Fujiki during the second and third seasons of Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS.
- It shares the same Attribute and Level as Yugi Muto's "Dark Magician" and Yuya Sakaki's "Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon", with all three being Level 7 DARK monsters.
- This card is the first Cyberse Fusion Monster, as well as the first Fusion Monster to list a Link Monster as Fusion Material.
- It is also the first Fusion Monster to be Fusion Summoned in the Yu-Gi-Oh! VRAINS anime and, by extension, the first non-Link Extra Deck monster to be summoned in that series.
- This monster is the evolved Fusion form of "Clock Wyvern".
- This card's name is a reference to clock rates.
- This card, "Decode Talker" and "Firewall Dragon" are the first ace monsters of a spin-off protagonist whose Type is neither Dragon nor Warrior, thus breaking the pattern of the spin-off protagonists' ace monsters (though "Firewall Dragon" and "Cyberse Clock Dragon" resemble Dragons while "Decode Talker" resembles a Warrior, so they only break the pattern semantically).
- It is also the first time a main protagonist uses a newly created Type (in this case, Cyberse).
- This card has several similarities to "Cyberse Magician" and "Cyberse Quantum Dragon".
- "Cyberse Magician"
- They both have a base form ("Clock Wyvern" and "Cyberse Wizard", respectively).
- They both have an effect that allows them to gain a minimum of 1000 ATK.
- They both have an effect that can add a card type (Spell and Cyberse monster, respectively) from the Deck to the hand when they are sent to the Graveyard by an opponent's card effect.
- "Cyberse Quantum Dragon"
- They are both Dragon-themed Extra Deck monsters.
- "Cyberse Magician" and "Cyberse Quantum Dragon"
- They are the first Cyberse monsters of their respective monster card types (Fusion, Ritual, and Synchro, respectively).
- They all share the same ATK, DEF, Level, Type, and Attribute.
- They all have an effect that protects their controller's other monsters from being targeted by an opponent's attack or card effect while a Link Monster is also on their field.
- "Cyberse Magician"
- This card has the longest single monster effect of any Effect Monster in the English TCG, with 130 words and 706 characters.
- Much like how "Firewall Dragon" opposes "Borreload Dragon", this card appears to likewise oppose "Borreload Furious Dragon", indicating a rivalry with the two cards.
