- This monster is based on Kagutsuchi, the Shinto god of fire.
- Kagu-tsuchi is also known as the "Shining-Elder" in the Kamiumi ("birth of the gods") episodes of the Kojiki. Giving birth to Take-Mikazuchi, when the god of creation Izanagi severed his head by use of the Ame-no-ohabari, his father Izanagi was in grief due to the birth of Kagu-tsuchi his mother Izanami (goddess of creation and death) burned to death.
- This card is "Bujin Mikazuchi" equipped with:
- "Bujingi Ibis" as its sword.
- "Bujingi Crow" as its shield.
- "Bujingi Boar" as its armour.
- "Bujingi Centipede" as its wings.
