- This monsters former name was "Red Eyes B. Chick", with the "B." standing for "Black". This was changed as the Japanese name did not have "レッドアイズ" in it's name and thus was not truly a part of the "Red-Eyes" archetype, so the name was changed for clarity.
- This baby version of "Red-Eyes B. Dragon" has one-third the ATK and one-fourth the DEF of its adult version.
- This card has a toddler version, "Red-Eyes Baby Dragon".
