- This monster is the cover card of Blazing Vortex.
- Unlike most other cover cards though, this is the first whose number is "001" in its debut set.
- This card is a retrained version of "Armed Dragon LV10".
- This monster appears in the artwork of "Armed Dragon Thunderbolt" whose effect to increase ATK, but prevent Battle Damage infliction is geared towards allowing this card's effects to be used.
- This card has several references to the original user of the "Armed Dragon" archetype, Chazz Princeton, particularly qualities present in the Japanese version of the character.
- Like several of Chazz's cards, it has a thunder motif in reference to his Japanese nickname, Manjoume Thunder.
- This monster is mimicking Chazz's common pose of pointing one arm toward the sky.
- Its OCG text is written to include the numbers 1, 10, 100, 1000, and 10000, referencing Chazz's Japanese catchphrase "ichi, jū, hyaku, sen, Manjōme-sandā" (一、十、百、千、万丈目サンダー meaning one, ten, hundred, thousand, Manjome Thunder; "man" meaning "10000").
