- This card can be searched via "Sangan", "Last Will", "Magician's Circle", and "Giant Rat".
- This card works well with Gladiator Beasts, Zombies, and the six Attribute Searchers.
- There is an OTK involving this card (Witch Doctor of Sparta OTK): you'll need a monster in attack position on your opponent's side of the field, a Shining Angel or Nova Summoner on your side of the field (preferably in attack position) and this card face-up on your side of the field. Ram your Shining Angel or Nova Summoner into your opponent's monster, then search out Nova Summoner. Ram that the same way, then the third Nova Summoner, then ram that and get Shining Angel. - Control this face-up card and 1 "Mind Master" and another Psychic-Type monster equip the "Mind Master" with "Telekinetic Charging Cell" and activate its ability tributing the other Psychic-type monster to Special Summon another from your deck (this will activate "Witch Doctor of Sparta's" effect) without having to pay Life Points then activate "Mind Master's" effect again tribute the Summon Psychic monster to summon another and another until "Witch Doctor of Sparta's" effect brings your opponent down to 0 Life Points.
- Use "Pot of Avarice", "Psychic Overload" and "The Transmigration Prophecy" to make sure you don't run out of Psychic monsters.
- Control this face-up card and 1 "Substitoad" and another monster, then activate "Substitoad's" effect to summon Frogs from the deck until the opponent reaches 0 Life Points.
- Use "Pot of Avarice", "Pot of Benevolence" and "The Transmigration Prophecy" to make sure you don't run out of Frogs.
