- This card can be searched by "Dark Sage", "Ancient Gear Drill", "Angmarl the Fiendish Monarch", "Left Arm Offering", "Terraforming", "An Owl of Luck", "Demise of the Land", "Ancient Fairy Dragon", "Madolche Butlerusk", "Planet Pathfinder", "Pop-Up", "Metaverse" and "Set Rotation".
- You can use "Light of Intervention" so all your opponent's monsters will stay face-up and they will be weakened by "Venom Swamp".
- "Vengeful Bog Spirit" and "Stumbling" work extremely well with this card, as it ensures the opponent will not be able to attack before their monsters have been significantly weakened.
- In addition, since all your "Venom" monsters will be busy placing Venom Counters, these will not be a detriment to your overall strategy. "Vennominaga the Deity of Poisonous Snakes" is also immune to the effects of Spell Cards, allowing it to attack on the turn it's Summoned.
